I'm having so much fun reading all the posts, can't wait to get involved and 'meet' everyone! I'm a 36 yr old working Mumma of two. A DD that is 8 and DS who is 5 and starting Kindergarten next week! Our home now is in town, but we have 12 acres on a hill with a lovely view that we are currently building a barn on and will someday (soon I hope)start a house. That is where we will have our suffolk sheep and chickens. My husband grew up on a dairy farm, and I as a child raised beef cattle so we are true blue farmers trapped in town! We can't wait to provide our children with somewhat of the childhood we had on the farm!! Look forward to chatting with all of you!

Welcome Brenda from Texas! Is Pavilion near Bativa? I seem to remember the town name. I grew up in El Paso, TX. My dad was from Warsaw, NY a small town outside Buffalo. We would go up to visit my grandmother and relatives every summer. My parents had friends in Bativa and we would go see them. You are going to love it here! Look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Brenda Lee from another New Yorker...Western New Yorker, actually, a bit southeast of Buffalo! (And Brenda in Texas - I'm about a 30-minute car-ride west of Warsaw - in fact, we were just through there a couple of weekends ago!)
Looking forward to seeing you around the boards!

Hi Brenda Lee!
I'm pretty new also and having a blast so far. I grew up in Rochester - so you're just down the road from where I spent many years. Beautiful country, that part of NY, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that - ha ha! |

Get out of here Brenda.... I grew up in the next town over from Warsaw, and moved there after I was married for 5 years before moving to Pavilion. What a small small world. What's your Dad's name? I may know him =)
