so sorry i havent updated, but i am not getting emails about the post here, dredded computer! anyway, i had the needle biopsy and not toscare anyone, the lidocaine, deadening drug, did not work on me. i tried to endure the pain, but had to stop after just two biopsies and they were hoping to do more than that. it was a very painful and fighteneing experience, but it is my understanding that the needle biopsy is very manageable when it works. the upshot of this is that i will not be able to have my test and treatment locally but will have to travel 70 miles to dallas to find folks who can do the biopsy under a general anesthetic. this could be more risky they tell me because i have the comprimised cardiovascular system. i spent a few days frightened and actually feeling sorry for myself, and then, my daughter came with her two sons, and my other two grandchildren came over, my mother in law, brother in law and aunt inlaw and we just had a wonderful family day which helped me a great deal, i did have to sleep through some of it, because extreme fatigue is one of the problems i am having with the heart problems right now. thanks so much tapestry for checking in on me. i have received emails from aunt jenny and jonni in kentucky, and then my email became so iffy i wasnt able to even know if anyone was posting here on my subscription post. really until yesterday, i wasnt feeling well enough to really check the site. i have a break for a week or two, my breast have to heal from the biopsys, and well honestly, i was having sleep disturbances which ended up being panic attacks so the doctors have decided i need a break from all the poking and prodding before i travel to dallas for new doctors and some kind of resolution on all of these problems. today, i am gonns try to do a little crafting to take my mind off of myself! tried last night and managed to sew for about 10 minutes. but honestly every day feels better. i think the ordeal of the biopsy without anesthetic was just a real drain on my body, emotionally and physically. thank you tapestry for your continued interest, prayers, and thoughts. i hope soon to have my farmgirl spirit restored and feeling more like myself. this has been a true learning experience in many ways.

Sweetheart Frannie -- What an ordeal. So painful and scary. Hopefully the doctors in Dallas will be able to do the tests you need and find some answers for you. And a good hospital there will have the experienced anesthesiologist that you need as well.
Hoping you can do some of your fab crafting today and also take a nap or two.
Sending love and light your way today.
xx

thank you my sweet farmgirls for the love. i can feel it comin thru the computer. i am feelin so much better every day, after a few days of crying and panic attacks before we were able to figure out what was going on. i tried to sleep and would wake up crying from the memory of the biopsy. never have experienced anything quite like it. i do want to repeat that the biopsy isnt like this for most folks, it just has to do with my body not utilizing the lidicaine in the right way. sweet nancy i received your card and butterfly and it is flittin around the house reminding me of you. little olivia took one look at it and squealed with delight as expected. my little grandchildren have been so sweet givin me so many healing hugs in the last few weeks. i do miss my crafting so much, but really havent been up to it in several months if the truth be known. i will be so greatful when i get all this fixed and can try to get all my strength back. love to you all sweet farmgirls.

Frannie, you are a brave woman...they'd never have kept me still when I saw the equipment and the "N" word. I'm so scared of them. You will do fine I just know it. I know having to travel that distance is a bit stressful in itself. Do let us know how you are feeling. It's always good to talk about things :0)

thanks once again for the good wishes. i will be going to new doctors in dallas, and the break from the docs here is a welcome relief. my breast are healing the bruising is beginning to fade, and i feel out from under the immediate stress of all this. zan, hope you get a chance to read through the post here and catch up on what all has been going on. i see that you are doing some herbal work, so if you run across anything that helps with polcythemia vera, atherosclerosis and possible breast cancer please let me know. once again, love to all.

Dear Frannie, I am by no means an expert. My mother just survived a fight with lymphnoma.? Even her doctors were amazed at her recovery. All I can say is that she fought it with any and all information she could get her hands on. We are both massage therapists so we have connections to the so called alternative health. One thing she swears upon is Castor oil packs. I don't have any direct links, but she followed Edgar Cayce type regiment. You can find it on the www.HeritageStore.com, you may be able to find the supplies around your area if you can't order it online. There's a book out there also, called "The Oil That Heals" about the castor oil. It may give you additional information. Just a suggestion while I send blessings your way!

Frannie, Hope things go well with your new doctor. A while back I read a book by Joel Fuhrman titled "Eat to Live" and I learned so much about nutrition. He has 2 new books out which come as a set that I could only find on Amazon.com titled "Eat for Health". I know nutrition can't cure all that ails us but there are some amazing stories from people with different ailments who have seen great results by increasing their consumption of nutrient packed foods, mainly vegetables and fruits. It all seems to go along with the good ol farmgirl way of life. Hope you feel better soon and get good news from your new Dr. I'm sure you would be able to find the first title at a library. I'm not sure about the second since it is quite new. Best Wishes, barnagainkristin
