I am babysitting my lil niece Charlie today, my sis has a Dr's appointment to see how many more days she has till little Emilee comes..she is so ready to pop!
DH also gets his MRI results this afternoon!

Today I am getting my financial aid wrapped up and all the loose ends tied up so I can return to college. I am already enrolled, but unless the money comes- it's a no go. So Doug is going to be the parent at home today and I am going to be out on the town! Okay...not in the way that most people usually think about "out on the town". LOL
having just returned from a fun whirlwind trip to toledo .. i'm 'flippin' my underoos inside out and packin' them back in the suitcase for a reeeeeeeeely FUN trip tomorrow to Illinois (mega-ANTIQUIN' trip!) with Kathy Sugarbucket and Miz Luna! will take pics and regale ya'll with tales.
also today .. i'm revelling in our new kitchen configuration!!!!!!! AND .. still pushin' and shovin' treasures around to get the cabins comfy!
it's HOT here today .. did a 'tad' bit of weeding .. snapped some more sunflower seeds .. DANG! i think some critters got into the ones that i picked cuz' there are seed hulls all over the back porch! BON APETIT! (i still have jillions to send to all ya'll that want them this fall!)
My 13 yr. ds & I are painting my home RET office. It's a beautiful golden tan. I've gotta go & buy the trim, paint the desk & side table soft sage green. Then we get to decorate. Yeeeha!

I went to work but the real fun gets going after work. That's when I really start my day. Tonight is garden night. Cleaning up and planting turnips. Praying for the tomatos to ripen. They just aren't fast enough!!
well .. it's 7:30 p.m. here .. and mostly i have PUSHED and SHOVED stuff .. i've put TONS of treasures in boxes and baskets to NOT put back up or on or under! some i may miss when i think of them .. some i may forget i even had!
i think i'm loving this 'limited space' thingie and all the new fresh paint .. (new beginnings) .. i would rather sell and put the pennies aside for my chilluns i do believe than to have so much stuff just hanging around!
anyone else being successful at this 'simplifying' thing?
