Just a reminder that the Buggy Barn quilt show is August 23 & 24th in Reardan, Wash, which is just west of Spokane. I went last year and it is wonderful . . . so many creative quilts all set on a darling farm. I will be out of town, so I can't spearhead it for Farmgirl Blessings (our Spokane area farmgirl chapter) but I know several want to come . . . I know Rene, Prosser Farmgirl, has talked about several of them driving over. For those of you in Spokane, contact Katmom (Grace) and you can decide a time and meeting place. have fun ladies!!

ok miss amanda,,,,that is soooo cool!, you'll be able to spot me in the crowd,,,I'll be the one w/a camera snapping up oodles of pictures of your quilt!
Not sure yet which day I will be there, but I am shooting for early Sat morning....

The Buggy Barn is great!! I'm going up with a caravan of quilting gals on Sun. Maybe if you all are wearing your jean jackets with your patch I'll see you and introduce myself. I am still waiting for my farm sister packet to arrive (talked to Sonny at MJ's farm today and she gave me my number.) so I won't have a jacket on or a patch, yet. I'll be on the lookout though.

I ventured out to this sale last year (after a previous engagement in the AM) and loved the quilts and the setting. It was a bit of a drive, so don't give up you will get there! It would be a great field trip with "farm girl friends."
I took lots of pics as well and posted on my blog. In fact I had a hard time choosing which ones to post..there were just to many lovely things to gaze upon and photograph.

I'll be there (Sat) around 10:30 w/my camera,hat & apron on,,,, the toughest part will be deciding on which apron to wear!!! lol!

Amanda I'm hoping I get to meet you at the buggybarn. I understood that you are going to be there both days? Our group is leaving Tekoa at 10AM on Sun. I have to stop and drop a grandbaby off at my daughter's in Cheney, so I'm expecting to be at the BB around noonish and we'll probably stay 2 or 3 hours. I heard there are vendors this year also.

hey Marcia & all you farm gals, I will be wondering around in my straw hat & apron....and camera!!!
I don't have any idea where we should meet up. But If I were a betting type of gal, I'd say keep an eye on the little fabric cottage, that's sort of the central area,,,although if Vivian is there with her lavender potions, you'll find me there too sniffing all the lavender scents.

Contrary Wife/ Teresa Sue, you're not kidding about the closeness. :) We're starting up a Rosalia Chapter, are you interested? Or have you found a home with the fantastic Spokane gals? I'm thinking of taking another tour of Plants of the Wild this fall. So neat!
I feel much better about my fencing project. Good thing I'm currant on my tetanus shot! You should just see my arms. Looks like I've been herding wildcats. Made good progress this weekend. Even found some old buried farming treasures. Now to scan it with the metal detector to get the fine stuff, like nails...ouch! Getting excited about arrival day!
