Is anyone ready for Fall? I am getting in the mood for mums and pumpkins and all the wonderful things that Autumn brings. If you are interested in an exchange of gifts (do not have to be homemade, can be dollar store or thrift shop etc)let me know by sending me an email with your name and address.
How about a cut-off date of October 15th - that way we can include some Halloween things too if we like.

It is the thought that counts, I don't want to put a dollar amount on it - do what you are comfortable with. I love fall best of all it is my favorite season!

Girls it will be a one person exchange unless we come up with a lot of people and you want to do any different. Usually the one person exchange works out fine.
Bet the stores already have fall stuff out :)

Am I over thinking the swap but couldn't you send your swap to the one before you on the sign up sheet. Aimee would send to Debbie, Debbie would send to Pam and right up the line. A cut off date would have to be inforced so that the starter of the swap would send to the last one signed up.
Just a thought. Or would it even work.

I like to wait till the end then I put the names in a box and draw them out and match up partners that way. I don't want to confuse anyone, it is much easier for me to keep track of the names and address too that way no one has to hunt anyone down for an address or such. Thanks!

I am so totally excited about this.....it's like getting ready for the first day of school when I was a youngin', I guess you could say I'm giddy!I am planning a trip into town over the weekend so I can get started. Thank-you Kathy for doing this.

Yes, there was an excitement about getting ready for school. I loved the smell and feel of new textbooks in school and I loved the smell of pencils, hehehe, and I even loved the box giant boxes of crayola crayons - now as an adult, I still love the same stuff but I love pumpkins and mums and Halloween and black cats - the rustle of leaves and the smell of someone burning leaves and the sound of a barking dog off in the distance when in bed at night with the windows open - I especially love a full moon in the fall, it is magical!

This is so cool Kathy. We are known as the Halloween house here in our little burg. Yes I go all out, mums and punkins and corn sheaths and on the porch there is witch hats hangin' and more punkins and wow just don't get me started......eek, you already have!

oh i agree! I REALLY Love FALL!! But Halloween is My ALL Time FAV Holiday!!
I SO miss Having a bit of cool crisp weather though..
The Smell of folks burning their leaves outside..
Fall festivals.. the kida all getting so excited about going back to school..
all those new smells like yo'd said Kathy!School Supplies! Mmmmmmmmm!
I'm such a smeller!
Anyway.. I have a question about the swap..
So we'll each be paired up with one person then? Is that right?
So I can get started.. Is that what I'm understanding?
Not something for EVERYONE in the swap..? or are we doing it that way..?
