Tell us three things about your 'state' .. try to 'surprize' us with something we didn't already know.

I can't think of 3 but this is one that I sometimes forget.

1)In North Louisian we have beautiful cotton fields. I always think of rice, soybeans, sugarcane (Those are down here in my section of the state)

2) LSU Medical school is famous for thier department of tropical medicine. At one time Lousiana was the only place to study tropical medicine in the US. (What does that tell ya'll about the climate?)

3) Our state capital building is the tallest capital buidling in the US.

Surprised myself and did it.

Idaho was the last state settled by whites. The Salmon River is longest undamed river in the country. We grow more seed crops in Idaho than anywhere else in the world. Flying over Southern Idaho seeing circles (irrigated with pivots) of bright blooming flowers is an experience to be remembered.

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

NEWARK, N.J. is NOT the whole of the State, as some claim. We have Cape May, oldest seashore resort and "old ghost" homesteads still standing and least of all lets not forget the "Jersey Devil". Michele

California's economy is considered a world economy, a counrty in itself. We have in one state, snow capped mountains, deserts, rain forests, beautiful beaches with sea cliff and sand dunes, big cities and little tiny hick towns. I'll let the other Californian's take it from here.

Blessed Be
