do any of you grow this?
if so..how do you start new plants from yours?
I found an awesome plant..it has the loveliest pink "rosette" looking flowers.
I'd like to create more plants from it..I did snip off some of the spent flower stems and removed the flowers and placed the stems with the 2 leaf parts..in a small water container..hoping they will root, and placed 2 small leaves into soil to see if they will root.
But..any "first hand" experience from any of you gals that might happen to grow these type of plants would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Uhg! I have one of these plants that my husband gave me for Valentine's day. It was so BEAUTIFUL then, now it's VERY SAD looking. I would like to hear some advice on bringing them back from the brink of death!!! Good luck Tina! ~~~ Tracy

To propogate Kalanchoe all you have to do is take a leaf and just tuck it in some light soil and keep it moist but not wet and it should root in no time. Kalanchoe are funny plants because they seem to flower once and then don't flower again, but isn't that the way of all plants . with indoor plants we seem to overdo the watering or forget them entirely, so just water moderately and wash the leaves at time. The indoor air can be suffacating for the leaves and in the summer take them outside in a filtered sun area. I guess this is for Tracy too. I hope this helps anybody. MB

Yes, thanks Mary Beth-- I can imagine that, with three teenage boys in the house, the air here is VERY dirty! (LOL) no wonder my poor plant is doing so poorly. It will probably do better OUTSIDE!
