My tomatoe plants are all droopy. Is it that time of year to cut them down. This is the first year I have a garden. Could I be watering too much? I certainly have picked alot of tomatoes.
Thanks for any advice.

If it has gotten really hot, they might need more water. I wouldn't cut them down until they die back on their own. I usually get 2 crops out of my tomatoes before frost kills them. Give them a chance to recover from producing and they might flower and produce again before the fall. :D

Another thing you might do is pinch off ay suckers that come out from the stems, sometimes that helps...

Thanks Karin. This is my first tomatoe plants. My husband is watering the plants now. Just letting the hose drip every so slowly. When he goes into his workshop, I'm going to go flooded those plants. LOL
