I found a 2 qt round pot with lid yesterday at the thrift for $5.. it sells new on amazon for $125! I knew I got a deal.. But I have always wanted this cookware but who could afford it.. So now the thrill of the hunt is on!! I love my new pot! I cooked lentils in it this morning.. Can't wait to find my next one..

Blessings, Debra

Debra, $5 is wonderful!! My mom found one at a thrift store that was $40 still less then $125 but a lot more then $5! Don't you love those kinds of deals?! I found a beautiful old copper mixing bowl at the same thrift store the other day for $3!

I was tickled pink!! My dh sure didn't know what I was sooo excited about.. :-) I also found 2 lovely vintage bowls- to hang on the wall not kitchen type.. and 3 crocheted little pants hotpads.. Although they will be decorations.. I collect them.

I llove Le Creuset. I have had mine for 30+ years and it is great. I got such a deal when I first got i don't think the sales lady knew the real cost. but i took it anyway. The best place to buy it now is at a thrift or garage sale. Like I said--I LOVE IT. Cooks, bakes, boils---whatever---can you tell I like it. MB
