I bought some Cauliflower from a nursery and heads were pretty badly damaged. So I harvested the 3 inch heads. I read that broccoli will start new florets if you harvest- will my cauliflower? Did I ruin my crop for the season?

Yes most broccoli will produce side shoots after the head is harvested. I have never had cauliflower that has done that, once you harvest the head it is done. That is not to say that there might be a variety that produces side shoots, but I have never had any.

Darn! I sure hope it recovers for a fall crop. If not, I guess I live and learn!

Sorry Alee, but cauliflower won't recover or re-bud. But the good news, now is about the right time to start transplants for fall!
