Our backyard neighbors are really struggling right now. I mean REALLY struggling. They would be sleeping on the floor if the previous tenant hadn't abandoned a futon. Their little house has been so hot and they have no curtains. I offered several times to give her some extra sheets we have for just that reason but she refused thinking that Family Services would give them curtains or sheets for the windows yesterday. Well, they didn't so I finally convinced her to take some of my curtains. She was so grateful! And I can't wait until tomorrow when her house is cooler and she gets some relief from the heat!

I also helped her clean out a raised garden bed and we are going to plant hot peppers tomorrow!

Thanks ladies!

It's hard to watch someone suffer when not even 10 steps away you have something that could make their life easier. Plus it made Doug happy to have some of our spare linens gone. :D

Way to spread the farmgirl love, Alee. I'm with Kelly, let us know if she needs anything else. I might have something she could use.
