Today I met up with Ronna for a wonderful morning of visits, lunch and shopping. I met her at her house- got to see many of her lovelies.. I told her I wanted to move into our little room full of dolls/quilts/ and beautiful littles.. Do you think the kiddos would miss me?? Maybe not but dh sure would! I helped her figure out photo uploading on blogger.. then we headed over to her storage units.. sent me home with some items for the kiddos (which they have been playing with all afternoon) and some pyrex which I love and a sampler.. Jeff said that it was so "me". Then we went to a thrift store that neither of us had been to before. She walked away with a cute little lady doll and a crystal ice decanter- I got a milk glass dish, a crystal little bowl and 2 cute plates, some vhs movies. Then off for chinese food at a new chinese place in town- it was very good. then off to the grocery store for my grocery shopping. I enjoyed my visit with Ronna very much. Came home with many new treasures. Looking forward to getting together again. Thank you Ronna for a wonderful day!

Blessings, Debra

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

We did have a good visit and lunch too. I was happy to have a few things Debra needed or could use and save her from having to purchase. My house/storage is a great place to shop, just ask my kids :) I had forgotten about that sampler and she spotted it. Not really old, but still someone spent a long time doing it and now it has a new home. The vintage pyrex has been waiting for someone to love and use it too. I buy when I see it at a good price, but don't collect it. Now I don't have to worry about it being broken in shipment.
Thanks for a fun day Debra. Now someone besides my kids has seen the storage units..it is overwhelming, but lots of good stuff there, not just a bunch of junk that needs to be trashed.

What an awesome day for you two! I am kind of jealous! I would love to go on a summer of visiting and meet all my online friends.

Ronna- You certainly have one of the most giving spirits I have ever encountered. You are so sweet to share your treasures. I know that giving has it's own reward in sweet joy but you sure bless a lot of people and make them glow with the warmth of friendship. What would we do without you? You are a true blue farmgirl!
