My suggestion for our chapter name is Bluebonnet Farmgirls. I originally thought of Heart Of Texas Farmgirls, but realized that could be shortened to H.O.T. Farmgirls and I don't know if that's appropriate!
So, Bluebonnet Farmgirls is my name suggestion...

That's a great idea Heather! Let's say starting Monday, July 7th and ending at the end of July (the 31st) there will be a contest for a design for our Chapter. I'll find a little prize for the winning designer.
I haven't heard from Jen yet, but did find a spot online to register our Chapter name. So that part is done, and when I hear from Jen she will get us set up to access the Henhouse. Remember to post in the Henhouse, you have to have a sisterhood membership. However, if I'm understanding this right, to read only is available to everyone.
I'm going to try to get as much as I can done today on the Henhouse setup. My husband and I are going away for the weekend but we'll be back Sunday and I'll work on whatever is left on Monday.

Caron, I was not around yesterday but I see we now have a name! How cool. Somewhere though I think we need to mention it being a virtual henhouse that way farmgirls don't think they need to live in a certain location in TX. I would more than happy help with the henhouse duties! I see that we are "hot" lol hugs

Thanks AngiKay! I did put it would be a virtual (online) chapter in the registration and I was thinking when we put the title on the Henhouse section, I'd put virtual or online in that so someone could quickly see that. Something like: "Heart Of Texas Farmgirls-Virtual Chapter" or " Heart Of Texas Farmgirls-Online Chapter".
I apprecitate your reminding me that we'll need to say that!

Hotties, Jen e-mailed me that they are having a small problem with the computer so there is a slight delay, but they will have our henhouse set up as soon as possible.

Hi Hotties! I have returned from my weekend away. I went camping (well, cabin camping) with my hubby and several members of his family. We also took our little sweetie, our basset hound, who is named Austen. We had a great time. There was lots of food, swimming in the lake, walking in the woods, and fireworks both on the 4th and 5th!
I checked my e-mail just now but no word yet on our Henhouse. I'm hoping it will be tomorrow!
