I only had a few minutes to be at the thrift today, but long enough to get a couple of cute things.
We are having very wacky weather here today, I have opened and shut the windows about two thousand times, well you know a lot.So don't think we will be eating outside tonight unless we use our real heavy china.

Well, you sure made your few minutes count! And what's with the weather today? It's snowing in Spokane in June. Is it cold there or just windy, Nancy Jo? It's actually not bad here in KY today. A little windy, but not in the 90's, like the last few days.

Slow but sure. I went out Sunday, and washed the woodwork in my little bedroom and the walls, too. Then I vacuumed and moved out all the 'junk'my dh had managed to sneak in there(did this before vacuuming, etc.). Saturday, I bought a nice Simmons twin mattress in a thrift store for $24.99(already have a box spring). I washed the curtain(only one window). Now I need some help to move the heavy metal bed and the box spring and mattress in there. I bought a nice mirror and hung that up, too. I'm planning to take a couple of weeks off the beginning of July and stay out there then, so I think my little room will be in pretty good shape by then. :)

You were quite restrained today at the thrift I see. Well, you have been doing so well, it is to be expected that some days you can only offer up an item or two for us to enjoy. I'm still so tired from my Sunday adventure, i haven.t even brought in the box of treats from my car. Yes this weather is crazy. My daughter and I had some shopping to do, went about 40 miles inland, it was warm and breezy when we left, it got hot and stinky where we went to, and as we were heading up the hill to make the turn to get to our road on the way home, we noticed a big black cloud seemed to be lowering over the entire town. I hope it means a thunderstorm later to clear the air. Still looks pretty dismal out there.
The weather doesn;t seem to bother the garden though, things keep growing and blooming...I better get the rest of my veggies in before it's winter again. I think a short nap might be a good idea. I fell down in my kitchen this morning for no discernable reason, maybe it was just to remind me to take a nap...Karin

Nancy Jo, I finally made it to your site and love all your flower pot, comtainers, baskets and the flowers too. Your secret garden is looking very nice too.
It is so cold and rainy here, I don't even want to go outside and I need to get in the garden. Too cold!!. brrrr.... We have had record highs in the lows. High of 51 and today at 8:00 it was 42. And you are having weird weather too. I guess it is everywhere. MB
