think it is time we all wrote our congressmen and tell them do something or we vote you out, this is crazy, we do not have to be in this situation, I am tired of the fat cats getting richer and the people of our country not knowing how they are going to get thru the next month. We havent seen anything to what this winter is going to be unless something is done. We are not even considering a vacation we are just trying to keep enough money ahead to get our crops thru the year, I am sorry MR. and Mrs. CONGRESS WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR RESEARCH, DO THE DRILLING NOW.

$44.97 on our last fill up at $3.99. We drive a Honda civic and I think that's awful!!! It's already gone, too, with out drives to and from work. We talked about taking the bus (now it makes sense at $3.50 it didn't) but Jus said when he took it home last Thursday, he had to stand the whole way home (about 50 minutes) because of all the folks they picked up downtown Cincy before they crossed the river to get Kentucky side folks. The ride up Dixie is a long one on your feet, after you've been on them all day!

My son is 17 and between the cost of gas and insurance he hasn't even bothered to get his permit or take behind the wheel. We live in a small town, thank God, he can walk/ride his bike to his job at McPuke's. I remember when it cost 17 bucks to fill up my tank. Now it is 40+, and I fill up 2 times per week. I try to make my it count and combine errands whenever possible, or go during my lunch hour.

Well, here in the Phoenix, Arizona Valley, it is running anywhere from $4.03/gal to over $4.19/gal for the regular. When I fill my car with gas, it costs me around $60.00, which is a lot of money, so I do find myself driving less and cutting things from my life that I would normally use and have (which isn't much really) to make up for the gas. I have a quarter of a tank of gas in my car right now and am hoping it will get me through until Friday, payday. Thank goodness my office where I work moved and I am now only 6 miles from work instead of 15 and it only takes me 10 minutes to get to work when it used to take over an hour. So, blessings do come. I feel your pain out there. Hugs and Smiles to you all!

The gas station across the street from work is $3.84 this morning. But, every day they raise & lower it 5 cents. So before I leave it will be 3.89. I have seen it some places for $3.92 already, but those places tend to run a little higher anyway. Last week I got gas for $3.74. This has got to let up. I car pool to save, but it's still hurting the wallet! If I didn't have to ride in 35 miles one way, I might consider a bike. I thought taking a $600 pay cut a month was already bad, this isn't helping! I feel sorry for those making minimum wage. More than a day's worth of work is going to fill their tank. At that, it might not even last the week. Too much corporate greed in this world! People shouldn't have to suffer for others to make billions of dollars in profits!

I paid $3.99 for regular unleaded to fill up last night...a personal high. OUCH! Hope it sits there for a while before it bumps over $4.00 per gallon.

Today it is $1.31 per litre, which works out to just under $5 a gallon in U.S. prices. It was up to $1.34/L on the weekend, and has come down a few cents this week.
It's awful, I'm driving a Chevy Cobalt which isn't too bad on gas, but DH has a pickup truck that's much harder on gas. Costs him $98 to fill up.

Our small town gas station is $3.67 a gal. today. It's gone down about .20 in the last 2 days and we are around .25 cheaper then up in the city. (8 miles away). Who can understand this? I'm sure it will go back up.
