4.09 here. My teenage son(16) said that if it gets much higher then he will not be able to drive. It is getting rough for people out there. |

I paid $4.37 at Costco on Saturday and they usually run at least 10 cents less than town. The REAL SHOCKER - $101.01 and I still had about 1/4 tank. Yep I drive a Suburban, but I need it to pull my stock trialer. Thought about getting an economy car, but they are now at a premium around here. Sales of Scooters and Vespa's have gone way up too. There are no car bargins. |

$4.01 here in Atlanta. I do wish I lived in a "walking" community. But, the only thing we can walk to is an auto parts store...not exactly useful!

$3.99 at the Kroger near me today. I paid $3.85 last Friday at our Costco. I try and get my errands run in the morning so that I do not have to run the air conditioner. It's been beastly hot here, so in the afternoon I have to put it on, which uses more gas. But I do only have to go pick up my son from work. :) I sure hope that someone is benefiting from all of this, because I'd hate to think I'm paying an arm and a leg for no purpose at all.

$3.93 on Saturday when I got gas in the next town..it is closer to $4 in our own little town..but since if I drive anywhere I am usually going through the next town either north or south I tend to get gas there..always saves about 5 cents a gallon.

3.95 at Pan, 3.99 at Circle K. I run my errands by thinking out the route. I stay near home as much as possible. We have 2 Volvos. I hope they get good mileage compared to the norm......this is all crazy! I am keeping my tank full, as I know if I let it get empty, it will cost more by then....
The internet is a blessing! We can travel across country and never leave our house.

Ugh, I paid $4.16 on Saturday to fill up (this is in the Western New York area). Then, as I was flipping through the weekend news, I heard Tim Russert mention that there is now speculation that prices will be up to $6/gallon by Labor Day!

$3.89 yesterday couple of places. I also traded off my 1993 Chev. Blazer for a Ford Escort that gets 32-38 miles to the gallon. I heard on TV here that is going to $6.50 by end of July.

I paid $4.19 per gallon last week just southwest of Chicago. We have a Toyota Camry and it cost $70 to fill up! Disgusting!

I paid $3.89 per gallon yesterday across the river in KY. Didn't check the price on the drive home today, I was watching my speed hoping to increase my mpg for in town driving. Sure wish it were safe to ride a bike around my town. Most drivers around here would rather run over you than be courteous to a cyclist.

Hold on to your hats ladies!! It's $4.41 a gallon in our little town. It's closer to $4.50 or $4.60 in Sac and San Francisco. Diesil in our are is $5.25 (or more) a gallon. (It's KILLING our farmers and our Truckers!!!)
It cost us over $20 just to mow our lawn!!!! We live 12mi's from the nearest town so my car doesn't move unless it HAS to. Dear God, when will it END??!!

The gas station I passed on the way into work is $4.07 a gallon for regular unleaded. Crazy crazy crazy... I remember cringing about $3.50-something just about a month and a half ago....

If it gets above $4.50/gallon I'm riding my bike everywhere. And the grass can just grow, or I'll put the horse out to munch it down. Not spending money on overpriced gas.

Needless to say, on a fixed income one doesn't overdo on the gas thing. I filled up Friday at $4.03, time before that was $3.76. This just isn't right.
