See!!!! You thought they were ugly, too....Now that'll teach ya! They're incredible and so are you, and I'm very happy that you can produce them a bit easier than the pillows. Still, it's work, and you're so creative. Amazing!!!! So nice that Tommy and Sheryle are heading down with you--hope it's going to be a lovely show, and that you all will sell, sell, sell!!! Tell them "hello" for me and that I will send a check soon (if they still have the pitcher...I've been trying to pay down some things so I can treat myself shortly :))
Love you too, Miss Wilma. Can't wait til the 4th of July! Janice and Dave are coming along too, I believe!!!

Miss Wilma, I use a Rx very rarely but the best I have found is Diclofenac 75mg. You need to take it with a good meal but it works with out having to build up in your system. They are $4.00 a RX for 60 at Wal-Mart. I have just started GF last week but it has been hard on my already very sensitive system so I need to stop until my digestive system returns to some sense of stability. But I have been told it works wonders and my back doctor suggested I start it. If you ever find any mothers pillows from Knox, Hood, K-16, Irwin, I would love them. My boys have been station at each. There is also a few others that escape my mind.

Well, as far as Arthur goes, Grandma swore by eating cherries. She had read in Prevention magazine many, many, many years ago that there is some chemical in cherries that relieved arthritis. When she first started this, she said she had to eat a can of cherries everyday for a week or two and then only once a week to maintain after that. She told everybody about it that she knew suffered from Arthur's visits. One orchard owner had a lightbulb go off when Gram told him about it, because he didn't suffer at all during picking season! I know cherries are spendy, but if you can pick them yourself and freeze them for the year you'll save a lot!

Even if it doesn't work for you, I bet the cherries will go well with moonshine.
Cheers, Karen

Can I come to the moonshine party? I'm presently on bed rest for a back condition hoping to ward off surgery at least until after vacation. Thanks for looking for the pillows. No time frame my three boys are traveling the world from one base to another. 2 overseas and the third leaving in January.

OMG you gals are such a riot! I bet you're middles all hurt the next day after you all gather together from laughing this hard. I just can't picture the whole moonshine thing where Miss Wilma's concerned. That whole concept is so hard for me to wrap my brain around! That sweet little face? NO WAY!

Miss Wilma,
You can get glucosamine almost anywhere vitamins and supplements are sold. I have used a lot of different brands, everything from the high dollar health food store ones to the store brand name. Yes, some work better then others, but the main thing is to keep it in your system. It comes in different forms. I think the capsules work best. Also I get more relief from the glucosamine/chonroitin then if it's in a sulfate.
I finally convinced my husband to try it last year because his left wrist from killing him - he was taking a major amount of pain meds and wearing a brace to get through work each day. The doctor said it was carpal tunnel and he needed surgery. It took a few months to get a combo that worked for him. He now takes equal amounts (1500mg.each) of glucosamine and MSN, a joint sulfur. He has been pain free in that wrist for about 4 months now.
I encourage you to do some research and give it a try. My husband also tried the magnetic braclet and it did work for a while. I also use biofreeze (works great!) or a heating pad when I've overdone it.
Hope this helps!
Hugz,

Cathy (okiequilter)

You all are too darn funny, will moonshine help if I rub it on my joints that are having fits. That stupid brother Fibro has been a major pill that last couple of really rainy days here, more rain for the next 6 days and in the 60's. Ya sure I shouldn't swallow some down. Nuts, would have to make a trip to Miss Wilmas cause she sure as heck wouldn't want to send it through the mail!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carol I think the smell would cure most anything, guess I better not try shipping it although I did take a qt to one of our lawyer friends and a lawman down in Texas, The lawyer liked it so good he wouldntlet any of the others have any, now the lawman , I saw him last spring and he had gotten married , had five little children walking behind him and his wife. Now she either had those kids before he got her or it really is powerful stuff
