I love fireflies. We don't have them here but all my dad's relatives lived back east and we got to visit. The funniest part was chasing the fireflies, they are so cool!!!!!!
Oh I love fireflies - or lightning bugs as we called them in IL. I miss that the most of anything. It's always such a treat when I go home for a visit in the summer to see the fireflies.
Fireflies are the best! My daughter & family moved to Vermont ( Bennington) last year and on my 1st visit in June, there were fireflies!! I haven't seen them since I was a child in Kansas. It was so wonderful. Laura actually went out & caught a couple in a jar for me & surprised me with them later after I'd gone to bed. What wonderful memories they brought. Oh, we did let the fireflies go!
