To clean a deep fryer. They're not submersible (which would make it much easier if it was) so I have to smear soap all over the outside, scrub until I think it's not greasy anymore and then wipe the soap off with only a damp rag. And wipe and wipe and... It's so tedious; I hate cleaning the thing. The inside's not so hard, I can lay it on it's side over the sink and actually use my sprayer to rinse after scrubbing.

Anybody have an easier way to degrease the outside?

Thanks, Tina. I'm going to try that tonight after the fryer cools off. I bet it rinses off easier than soap, huh?

Oh, do you think it would get the yellow-stained grease spots off the inside of the range hood?
