Hi! This is my first posting. I grew up on a farm, moved into the suburbs, lived there for years, and finally managed to return to the country in 1993. We (my husband and I) have 40 acres in northern Alabama (Blount County). The land is hilly, rocky, and forested. I garden, read, paint, write, adopt stray dogs, and work a part-time job two days a week. I look forward to meeting other farmgirls at heart and getting to know some of you.  |

Welcome Sharon..hey..we have another gal (Suzy) from Oneonta here..she is one of my best friends to boot...fun to have someone else from her neck of the woods..sounds wonderful!!
