I just joined the group and have had a wonderful day looking at all your posts. I thought I would add my latestest creations. I sew a lot for my Grandkids but have just starting blogging so my site is pretty new. Take a look. Janis http://janiszettel.blogspot.com/
Lovely dresses and beautiful grandkids-ALL of them! I'm thinking of making some pillowcase dresses for my 2yr old this summer. We'll see if I get that far on my "to do" list though :)
Fresh and creative projects popping up on my blog daily! Stop by and check out what I'm up to today!
I used this tutorial but changed it a little. I made the yoke by copying the dress top and made it 2 inches below the armhole opening long (?) When I sewed it on I placed the right side of the yoke to the wrong side of the dress and stitched all around. Then I turned it and pressed it and this way you don't need to put a casing around the armhole. I like to use elastic across the front and back rather than using ribbon to go all the way through. then I just sew the ribbons to the corners.
