Oh Lainey I am so happy you will be able to join us.We will have a nice picnic lunch, Looks like we will have a bunch of us there. this is a place where you can buy if you want to, I have a large booth and will try to have enough chairs for the men fellers to rest their weary bones. We think Linda will be able to join us and Zan.I will give directions before the show

Lainey...it would be wonderful if we could make the jaunt in Burlington, only because it seems like we are all going to that anyway :)...And, if you're heading to Ikea, then it's on your way! There's always June, July, August, September and shoot, the remainder of the year that we could do Berea. Our little ragtag Kentucky farmgirl "chapter" could, ideally, elect to do something each month or every other month.
I better get my pies in order! I already read a request from Jessica for an apple (or 2). We'll see what else I have up my sleeve!

This is crazy exciting girls! I've checked flights and it's hideously expensive like in the 500.00 range! Ouch! Let me get rent squared away first and maybe I'll try priceline.com and see what I can come up with. I'm not saying no yet! Fingers crossed!

Oh yeah, Linda, I forgot about Priceline.com. When I was dating a guy in NYC, I could get crazy cheap rates at the last minute on there and we would swap months to visit. I didn't mind leaving at weird hours in the morning, either--it was easy :)

Linda - check with AAA too and see what their rates are. There are also various coupon websites that you can look for promo codes for traveling. :)

Thanks for all the tips and support! I am growing quite fond of all of you for this very reason...you have kind hearts and loving ways.
So! I have a trip planned to go see Danny in Chicago BUT it has to be next weekend and if he's working (he's an art director) it'll be a no-go. Now I'm not saying that I want that trip to fall through because I adore my boyfriend but if it did fall through I might have a free ticket that I could use to fly somewhere else...say Cinncinnati? On the weekend of the 18th! LOL! I should know by the end of the week. Wouldn't this just be a hoot if I could actually come!?

Thanks Miss Wilma, I was chatting with a girlfriend tonight and told her about this opportunity and the possibility of me coming to KY to meet a truck load of women I've never set eyes on before! And I couldn't be more excited about the prospect if my life depended on it! So I'm with you Miss Wilma, I'm going to start being the little engine that could... I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

Jonni - On the way to work yesterday, I mentioned the white cabinets to David. The day before, he actually said the word 'cabinets' in a conversation. I think I'm breaking him down. Yesterday afternoon, the antique mall called and I may have sold the old stove.....keep your fingers crossed. That would be a hundred dollars towards the cabinets.....LOL!

Alright, Janice--fingers crossed (but not toes--bad luck!)...it sounds like Dave is breaking. Just the utterance of the word "cabinets" in conversation tells me he has them in his head, too!!! They are really perfect, you know ;)

And I'm just crazy about Miss Wilma! And everybody I met at Burlington! I haven't had that much fun and laughed that much in a very long time! All work and no play is out the window now! :D Life's too short for that!

You're all wonderful and I can hardly wait to meet you! I'm not sure where I'd fit in with the bunch. I'm a bit shy at first that then my inner goofball comes out. Uh oh. LOL!

Question...
Since I'd never seen any of you before the pics were posted this week, from left to right, who is who?

Linda I am in the middle pink sweater, Janice to my left, Jessie with the short black hair Jonnie with the long hair, You see I am on the hippy side so I scooted in the middle.Believe it or not Linda I am a little backward at first but when I get turned on I can be a real tease I love to laugh and I love people,Janice and I probably tend to be more serious , Jessie is a book of knowledge and little Jonnie is a little bubble waiting to burst. I havent met the other girls coming but cant wait, they sound like my kind of girls

Oh, I love an inner goofball! It just fuels my fire :)...You'll fit in just fine, Linda. We are all Farmgirls, afterall. Each and every one of us just like snowflakes. All different and unique in our own way, but all the same purpose (to be cold? No...to make the roads dangerous? No....well, I'm not sure, but we're like snowflakes, ok?

Excellent! I can hardly wait! It'll be especially fun to have Zan travel in and wasn't there one other person making the trek too? Miss Wilma, does this mess with you anniversary plans?

I think Lisa (from Georgetown, Ohio) and Lainey, from Waco, Kentucky are going to try to swing it, which is very exciting--I've met Lisa before, in the autumn and she's super wonderful, and I can't wait to meet Lainey face to face, as we seem to have much in common :) And then you and hopefully Zan-- I think Zan may stay with me for the night which is much fun! I'm wondering, since Burlington gets over at 3:00, if we all might like to head down to Rabbit Hash, Kentucky for some more junkin and a sasparilla :)
