Oh my, my head is spinning Ladies! Here I am out of a job and thinking "How can I make this work?!" Let me do some checking, a few prayers and some crossed fingers (spitting over your shoulder wouldn't hurt either!) LOL! I was planning a trip to Chicago but it's looking like Danny will be eyeball deep into a new job. Let me see what the prices are and I'll see what I can wrangle. What great fun would that be if Zan could come too!?

You know me all too well, Miss Wilma! Janice is much less ornery, though, but I bet if she was around me enough...well, you know :) And darn it if you didn't figure me out quick !!! :) I can't wait to see what you've got up your little sleeve for your 50th....I'd love to help cook!!!!

Linda, we'd love to have you and like I said, I'd be glad to pick you up from any airport in the surrounding...how about Southwest? I know they're much more reasonable than Delta or otherwise, and they fly in to Indianapolis, and Dayton and Louisville.

You gals are cracking me up. I've been working on some little projects with my findings. Hubby was cracking up as I was hanging my feed sacks on the walls to decorate. When I get everything all done, I'll be sure to take a photo. :)

You all are a balm to my spirit today. It's been a rough day for me. Very emotional re: losing my job, finances, my daughter graduating from High School and going off to college. And the list goes on and on... Thank you for all of your lightheartedness, it has put a smile on my face and cheered me up! I'm prolly going to check out the flights tomorrow just to take a gander and what things cost. Boy could I use an adventure! Sending you all big farm girl hugs!

I'm sure things are very hard right now, Linda....and it's absolutely alright to work through the feelings your working through...but, if you find that you can "get outta dodge", these Kentucky girls will be glad to have you!!! Sometimes it's just good to go on an adventure and to see some different scenery. Perspective, I think they call it :)

Yay!!! Lisa will come to Burlington!!! Yeeha! Miss Wilma, you will love her for sure! The Asparagus festival is on my list, however, it's also the day that we were supposed to do the Kentucky Girl gathering...any idea if we are making Burlington our gathering? I don't mind either way...I can just go go go!!!

Yeah I think having our gathering at Burlington rather than Berea that weekend will work out best. I just found out I have to be at our fairgrounds on the 17th...so the 18th at Burlington is good for me. What about the fellow Kentucky farmgirls and heck - anyone else that would love to join in on the fun. Jonni will have to bake several apple pies that day! They are to die for!! I'm craving it now and I normally do not crave sweets. haha.

Oh, the meeting has been moved to Burlington on the 18th instead of Berea on the 17th? I might be able to make that one too because hubby and I were planning to go to Cinci one weekend in May to pickup our chairs at IKEA that we didn't get the last time because my Van broke down on the way up.
