Yesterday I joined some wonderful farmgirls from as far away as _Southern Idaho_ for the MaryJanesFarm Pay Dirt Farm School. Our instructor was MaryJane's own Sunny who is just as sweet and cheerful as her name.
She gave us lots of great information and we all got to help in making greenhouse. Then at the end those of us who bought a raffle ticket got put into a hat to win the greenhouse materials and much to my surprise, I won!
It was wonderful day and so full of knowledge. Seriously- if you have been thinking about participating in one of these classes- go for it! They are great!!
Congratulations, Alee!!!! Did you have a chance to talk to Rose and Terry? They left early yesterday morning to attend the class. Rose was really excited about the chance to win the materials for that greenhouse. I'm sure she'll be building one this summer anyway since it doesn't cost a fortune! I'm glad you had fun.

Lisa- Yes! I got to meet Rose and Terry and JudyBlueEyes! It was a FANTASTIC time! So much fun! Sunny was such a great teacher!
The Greenhouse probably won't be put up until end of June because I am moving to Wyoming for the summer so it would be better to put it up there rather than putting it up here, taking it down and then reassembling it. Not that it would be hard to put it up here- Ladies these are awesome greenhouses and I am pretty sure Sunny is busy writing an article for our favorite magazine so you can learn too!
Thanks ya'll! It sure gave me the gardening bug! Today I planted some tomatoes upside down in modified plastic buckets. They are now hanging in my living room like very odd planters :D I am hoping with the sun and the heat in my house that they will grow quickly and I can have some fruit bearing plants ready to take home. I also splurged on some strawberry plants that already have berries on them! Hurray!
