I have just purchased a 5 tier worm compost bin...I am looking into some sites for buying worms. Does anyone have any knowledge in this? Any suggestions will help.
Thanks

www.gardensalive.com
They have a special going until May 2 that if you buy $25 in products, you get $25 more free. Lots of good products from them. Redworms for composting as well as earthworm cocoons. 500 redworms are $39.95, 1000 are $49.95
I don't know if that's a good price or not..mine were given to me by someone moving. You could post on your local freecycle and someone might be able to share.

Just got a catalog from Territorial Seed Co and their red worms are $41.95 for 1000, $64.95 for 2000. that's a lot of worms, considering they do reproduce well. Nice catalog, I've not had one from them in awhile and glad I asked for it.
