and so excited to be here!
I am looking forward to getting to know you all { if that's possible} and learn some things and make some friends...

I am Kelley and I live in southern California in my little garden cottage longing for the day when I can move out to the country!
The Lord is teaching me to be content and do what I can where I am at so I am working on that! Ü

I live in with my dh of 20 years and my two teenagers: a ds, 17 and a dd, 15 and our 2 dogs and rabbit!

I love making soap and toiletries and scented items and growing flowers and stitching and cooking and baking, reading and even watching a good movie now then...

Blessings to all!

Welcome Kelley - so nice to have you join us at MJF. I hear it is has been nearly 90 degrees out there in the beautiful state of California. Please send some of that warmth over Kentucky way - it is gonna freeze here tonight.

If you are looking to make friends here - you certainly will, if you are looking to learn something - you will every day - if you are looking for ways of finding contentment in what you have - you couldn't have found a better place of encouragement. This site is an inspiration to anyone who visits.

So glad to meet you - and Blessings to you as well.

Hi Karen!
I am in Ventura County!
Where is Vista?
I am assuming that it is down south closer to San Diego?!

I have one you can join! You can do a search in the chapter section by area/zip of chapters and get some email contact info of ones closer to you than me. If you want to join mine, Yippe, & you will have to know we haven't actually done anything yet. Truth in advertising...but when we do it'll be swell!
mine is called the "edgehill herb farmgirl chapter"

Hello everyone. I am so thankful I found this forum. I don't really know where to start. I hope to find other stitching and farmgirl at heart friends. Any suggestions as to how to dig into the forum would be helpful. It seems so big!

Hello, My name is Lorri and I am new to this site. Found it quite by accident. I grew up a farmgirl and now misplaced in the burbs. Hoping to rediscover myself again. I am single and raising teenagers. Hope to make some new friends.
