take a little break and go on 'vacation'. The last of her two orphan chiles have jus' been posted at Sister Mercy's Foundlin' Home.
WHEW! She's been stayin' up day and night with those long skinny fingers of hers just a-flyin'!
maybe in a week or two she'll be rested up enuff to do without sleep .. and will create some more 'country cuzins and city sisters'.
when you kids get 'creative' .. do you find that you go and go and go like the energizer bunny .. EVEN the bunny get's tired sometimes and needs a little nap!
or do you treat your 'crafting' more like a 9 to 5 job?
there are so many books waiting to be read .. and that's what i think i'll do for a week or two!
yeah .. me too miz nancy .. and by the time i discover it .. i'm so far along .. that i don't always go back and change it. i hear ya' soft and clear! i usually type in all LOWER case .. with an occaions UP .. i'm sure you've noticed i don't even CAP my i's or names.
i once asked famous doll maker 'elinor peace bailey' why she never capped her name .. thinking of course .. that there was some esoteric meaning .. ha! her response: "SO YOU'D ASK!!" in her loud .. booming voice!
another friend told me she doesn't 'cap' anything .. cuz' then she doesn't have to 'think' about what does and does not need to be capped! ha! i think that's when i started doing it!
NOW .. gotta' choose something fun to wear tomorrow for our farm and barn tour .. cook up some vittles (wokked FRESH veggies .. as usual!) get me one of my kentucky or abraham lincoln books and 'set a spell' with my honey!
Hey Ms Frannie...I think you need a rest too...that's alot of orphans you've placed...I think enough to qualify for sainthood! :D
Anyhow...I find I'm like you...when you get the crafting bug, I just keep going and going til I burn out! I guess I'm afraid the inspiration will eventually leave so I'll get while the getting is good :)
yes you have been creating tons of dollies lately..oh my I'm so excited about giving another dolly of yours a home here in sunshiney Florida! have fun at the barn tour.
