I'm bursting to share- I've been working away since the beginning of January and it's finally done! I've completely re-done the kitchen in 'farm fresh vintage' style.

Here's a sneaky peek!

Check out my blog for before and after pictures! You won't believe the changes!

Meg, your kitchen is beautiful. You weren't kidding when you said we wouldn't believe the changes. It is like night to day! It is so bright and cheery now. I love the old farm table as a island. Congratulations you did a super job!!

I've got lemon scones waiting, Dalyn! I was just over at your blog- your kitchen looks pretty cosy too. Love the re-purposed chick-feeder :)

Wow, great kitchen. I love lots of light in my kitchen and never could understand the dark cabinets and countertops you see in so many high dollar kitchens. I don't think they are used, just for show :)
Amazing what you were able to accomplish with lots of hard work but not a bunch of $$$.

That's wonderful, Meg! Isn't it amazing what paint can do? The possibilities are endless! I love the cabinet with the glass front--really makes everything look "open" and your table for an island. Great work!! Now, take a break and have a cuppa ;)

Beautiful work! We're in the beginning stages of a complete kitchen remodel - oh how I wish it were as easy as a new coat of paint for us!

(I just noticed your location Meg. Are you far from Niagara-on-the-Lake?)

Thanks everyone!

laluna- we're about an hour west of niagara-on-the-lake, at the other end of the lake.

Your new kitchen is so springy! The color white allows you to use any accent color you want at any time! Is there a recipe for those mouthwatering scones? Susan
