Has anyone grown these? I saw them in my seed catalog, and mentioned in a recent Harrowsmith magazine article, and I'm intrigued. My son wants to try them this year. Apparently they're from the tomato family, but taste like pineapple with a hint of butterscotch. You can make jam and pies with them, or just eat them fresh.

I have never heard of ground cherries. They sound delicious though. If you get some keep us posted as to how they do.

I just read about those in Harrowsmith too! They sound really neat, and I'd be interested in whether anyone's grown them before too.

Veseys Seeds in PEI is offering them. I'm going to order some today!
