My favorite hunk now would be my hubby, hands down. But my favorite celebrity hunks would be George Strait, Jude Law, Brad Pitt, Colin Firth, and Gerard Butler (he was dreamy in The Phantom of the Opera).
As a youngster I loved Bjorn Borg, Donnie Osmond, Leif Garrett, Rex Smith, Freddie Mercury, and Peter Frampton. I thought David and Shaun Cassidy were hunks too.
Frannie, that's such a beautiful pic of you!

Sam Elliot for sure..or Tom Selleck as a cowboy is a close second. Kurt Russel too, And Matthew Maconaghy ( KNOW I spelled that wrong) is nothing to sneeze at either.

Oh, and who is the actor that was the love interest in The Notebook? James Garner played the older version, and the young guy was so cute, and I loved the way he grabbed his girl and kissed her.

Elaine, Did you see Leif Garrett on Celebrity Bull Riding? LOL! That poor man looked SO tired and he's still young yet! Sadly he only lasted one day.
But wasn't he just a hunk when he was young and let us not forget Parker Stevenson and Shawn Cassidy of Hardy Boys fame!
Man alive, does that date me or what!

Josh Lucas is very cute.
I generally prefer rugged men (Burt Reynolds, Sam Elliot, Tommy Lee Jones, my husband!) but I really swoon over Steve Carell from The Office. It's my favorite show and I have to remember that I'm supposed to be LAUGHING at Michael Scott, not drooling over him. It's his eyes and smile, I think.
Oh, and I'm 31 - does my preference for older men show? :)

okay, these two guys dont always make me swoon, but in the movie "hope floats", expecially in the dance room scene harry connick, is prettyyyyy nice. also the scene in witness, with harrison ford, and the amish women, listening to the radio in the barn,,,,,that is one smoldering scene and i dont even think they kissed.

I just had a discussion the other day about Harry Connick, Jr. and his line, "Honor Me?". Aaaannddd... I chose that scene from Witness as "Sexiest Movie Scene Ever" in a poll two days ago.

Sherri, I was just getting back on here to say that the guy from Sweet Home Alabama was hot, and there you go! But, I have seen him in something else after that and he just wasn't the same. Must have been the character.
Oh, and I am 27, so my taste in the other guys seems to run a wee bit older, too. |

Alright...let's see. In no particular order: Jude Law (fulfills my love of brits), Vigo Mortenson--just HOT; the Austrailian actor who is in the show "Life" but was Captain Winters in Band of Brothers--wow, do I love auburn hair!!! Cat on a Hot Tin Roof era Paul Newman, early John Lennon...and believe it or not, I've got a little thing for Hugh Grant :)

I love Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head bicycle scene is one of my favorites of all times. From the past decade, I would have to say Russell Crowe....HELLOOOOO Gladiator!

OMG Jonni, Let's just talk about the hunk-o-rama in Band of Brothers! Donny Wahlberg in that movie is nothing short of delicious and Capt. Winters (what's his real name?) the guy from Life is gorgeous and I'm not even partial to redheads! And Neal McDonough the one with the piercing blue eyes...(picture Linda swooning here)sigh. My Danny has eyes like that. Mmmmm. I take off to see him tomorrow in Chicago and if we keep this thread going like this he's going to have a wild woman on his hands! LOL!

I will sing at the top of my lungs, and I will dance even if I'm the only one...

LOL! Think Westerns...he was in Tombstone and a lot of Louis L'Amour movies. If you're curious you can find pics of him on Google images or www.imdb.com just type in the name and voila'...Sam Elliot!

Oh, my gosh, Julie! Don't you watch movies or television? Lets see, there are so many. The first one that comes to mind is Roadhouse. He's been in many westerns including at least 2 Louis Lamour westerns. He does the beef commercials - you know - "whats for dinner?" in that warm, soothing Texas drawl. I so love his voice.
The rest of you Sam lovers will have to help me out with movie names. I'm not good at that part.

Sam Elliot...I think of "Prancer", he plays the cranky Dad, and I can hear him saying "We'll have apple sauce, apple juice, stewed apples, apple pie, baked apples..." LOL

*sigh* this guy...

(that's James McAvoy...you may know him from the movies Becoming Jane, or Atonement, but he's been in lots of others/on TV in the UK.)
Also, Alan Rickman from the "older gentleman" category, as well as Harrison Ford, whom I've loved ever since I was a little girl.
