Jess....safe travels....we love you!

Carol Sue....don't worry if they are simple....they will ALL be different for sure!! It will be so much fun to see what kind we each get!

Hello again. I have finished my pins, but I worry they might be too big, hope not. I posted them on my Photobucket site since I can't figure out how to just send them to this board. I remember someone writing some instructions about that, but I can't seem to find it again. Of course, it is after three in the afternoon here, and my brain is in the slow lane. http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r316/electricdunce/ I loaded up a few other ones today too

Bev! they are nice! My problem is trying to come up with something different. The heart looks like a valentine and all the buttons are just my style. I'd wear them for sure!

Oh Wow..YES!! These are great!! Terrific Job Karin!
I think I like the Hearts the best too!.. Must be the buttons..!

Bev! I think you've nailed it!
It has to be my Paul Bunyan affliction.. because the ones I am working on now have so many dern stiches on them they look diseased or something..
This stupid guy that sits with me keeps says.. 'What is it your tring to may again??" Poor guy.. he needs to figure me out a bit quiker then he is or he's really going to get hurt!

So far I'm only doing safe things to him.. you know..removing the ball from his mouse on his computer took all his staples from his stapler.. Disengaged his mute button from his headset..
(that's always great fun..) Locked his computer when he left his desk.. by changing his pass word.. thus forcing him to have our leader have to come over to reset his pass word..
( What..?? I was only trying to make sure his privacy was being protected... Don't look at me like that... )
But really.. he needs to not question my crafting skills.. Thats for you girls to do!

for questioning a crafters skill, a personal assualt to all crafters
So you had to avenge our craftiness....lol

Hey Karin,
your pins are so "purrrrfect" hee hee hee!
The fun part about this swap is that there is no defined pattern, size, color or rules,,,,just have fun being creative.

Kathie...I thought I was the only one who was mischievious enough to remove the little roller ball from my
co-workers mouse!!!! but then I have also be the object of retaliation by returning to my desk only to find my handbag wrapped like a mummy in masking tape! See what happens when people (at work) get board @ 3am!
If I ever choose to write a book about working Custody it would have to be shelved in the "Fiction" section 'cuz no body would beleive some of the stories I could tell! That being said,,,,,it's late & I am heading off to bed, need my beauty sleep & do I ever! hahaha!

Oh Grace.. wouldn't we have been a Pair to be reckoned with at work!!!

ok.. Cy-ute little "Felt" Story.. You'll all love it..

I have all my felt & Pins here at work so i can do them here..
One of My friends Peggy IM'd me & said.. "Look at Joe's head..He has a permanent indent on the side from his headset!" Joe is this older Bald Guy that sits a couple seat down from her & is between she & i Somewhat.. So I thought about it for a few minutes.. looked at my felt & thought.. "But of course!"
So I took my headset Down & traded with Joe on my Lunch.. Brought his back to my desk & fashioned him up an adorable little Orange double padded thing for his clip that rests on his head.. & then i stitched..
'Joe Cool' on the side.. I went & switched our headsets back..
He looked at it & laughed & said he loved it.. promptly put it on & said Perfect!!

So..ok..My things are off the wall ..But can be utilized I guess!

Kathie! shame on you! playing tricks on your co-worker!
now..you know on some keyboard you can pop keys off and switch them around..
also you can take a screen shot of the desktop, and then make that the background, hide all icons, then when they try to click on anything, nothing will come up! I havent done this myself, but it sounds like a fabulous joke to play!
Have fun!

I got my felt pins done! They are small flowers. I used the felt to sculpture the leaves. I hope you'll like them. I pinned them all to my little kitchen bulletin board.

Oh WOWZER! you ladies are on a rollll, just stitchin' away....
I thought I was done, but noooo,,,,'can't let miss jess out stitch me so I am making more....

For those of you who are done, if you wish to, you may send them to me sooner.
Gosh, if we all get them done we can swap them out even sooner. How cool would that be?!

I am wearing my pink heart felt pin today, after all it is Valentines Day! I also baked cookies
for my sweetie DH & my daughter, ok, & for me too!

I was over at my neighbors last night, we had a "craft nite" accompanied w/a glass of Reisling wine. It was such a nice evening of gabbing and stitching.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to you all.

I talked to Jess on the phone tonight....she is gone for her Dad's surgery. Part 1 was today and went well. Part 2 and the longer surgery is tomorrow. She is holding up ok....tired. But the funny thing is this....she gave all of her felt pins away in the hospital....so she has to start over! I told her that was a good cause....she'll have no problem whipping up another batch. Thought you all would want an update.....

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Thanks for the update, Bev. I bet everyone at the hospital loved her pins- it probably made them feel very special. I hope everything goes well tomorrow.
