What a heart of gold Jess has.....and you know what, it was ment to be. Her felt pins are bringing joy to the hearts of strangers... I am so proud of her. Prayers & hugs to her, her father, & the hospital staff & doctors.
Bev, Thank you so very much for keeping us in the know of Jess' dad's surgery.
If you talk to her again, please give her a "hug" from me, from all of us.

Hi girls...thanks for thinking of me and my family. I am borrowing a laptop to check in. My Dad is in the 12th hour of surgery today. Yep...I gave away all my pins...so I am making more, but have almost quilted one whole quilt. I am sewing on the binding now. Apparently my dads surgery is a very popular one. All the residents are trying to get in on the viewing and it is packed in the room, so they are letting the watch in shifts. I dont think we are really supposed to know that. Anyway..I dont have much to say. oh..who made the cow...it is so cute. and karin...yours are delightful. i better go, but thought i would check in. Have a great week girls!

Oh Tina,
I am so sorry that we are going to lose you in this swap, but fully understand.
There are always so many fun projects here @ MJF, so I know we will be seeing you
in them, but never let yourself get over whelmed with so many projects that you
don't have fun doing them.
After all that's what this is all about, having fun.
hugz to you.

Got sent the cottage pattern and saved it of coarse. LIke we all need one more project....but ya never know when it can come in handy. I do have my felt cut out. Have to sew and how in the world do you put the pin thing on? Do you just sew it to the back and then cover it up or what? I haven't done this before. Newbie, that's me.......

Jess Glad to hear from you, thinking about you and your dad often. Hugs.

Tina, I sure can understand those funks, we all have them. Hugs to you girl!!

Debi, so sorry you can't join in. How is hour elbow and arm doing by the way?

Linda, you are toooo funny.... beet-raddish, it's all in the same root family!!! lol!

C.S., I stitch the pin on the back before I stitch my front on, but it rally doen't matter, just stitch through the little holes 3-4 times each to secure it or you could even glue the pin backing on w/a glue gun if that is easier.
Having fun is what it is all about.

Linda, I think I was trying to make a beet, but it does look a bit radishlike too. I'm glad you like it, it is the one I worried might be too big. I have finished my pins and now I've got my spring blocks all cut out. Too cold to think here, but never too cold to not do some sewing, Karin

We're getting a bad storm, so I'm going to be homebound for a few days. I have a feeling a lot of felt pins will be made. :)
