Thanks, Frannie--
Some of the dresser cloths and things have a little damage in the body, but the embroidery is still good--would you be able to utilize them as collars for the bunnies or some other craft? They'd make lovely pockets or details or whatever.

I'd be glad to send them down to you as I am NOT that capable, and they can be utilized for sure, as opposed to sitting in a box in my study :)

i was hopin i could just get on with it, and i think i finally am,,,,but i just have to say, we have had a few exceptional events here and it has made me slower than my normal pace. (think turtle moving backwards)
this is a very busy time of the year, planting, cleaning up, spring cleaning etc.
so i knew there would be a delay in orders, and everyone has been more than patient.
however, my dh has had a death in the family(his mom's last brother, daniel boone), her only surviving sister, surgery for kidney cancer and her lifelong best friend surgery for breast cancer.
yesterday, we got a phone call that dh's aunt hazel, (the best friend with breast cancer )was in the hospital and had 2 heart attacks.
needless to say, dh loaded up in the truck to go see his mom and aunt, in dallas 70 miles away.
as everyone knows the work doesnt stop, goats and chickens have to
be fed, gardens tended and checked on, grandchildren hugged and kissed,(that is the good part).
i am currently working on susans bunny and HOPE to finish it today!
also, if ya havent signed up for the drawing, please do so, the deadline is today at high noon, texas time.
thanks to everyone for their patience, and i hope we will all get past this very busy time. if ya can please say a little prayer for your texas frannie's family. we are just having a little bad spell here and i am trying to keep it all together and not get discouraged.
and thanks again for your patience, just thought i had to finally fess up and let your bunny girls know why i have been so slow with the orders.
thanks

Oh Frannie....this has been the worst year for almost everyone I know (already!!!). I'm thinking of your husband and his family at this time--and you, too. Please try not to get too discouraged with these setbacks...unfortunately, life happens to the best of us :)

Is that tree house done? If so, climb up there and send those worries away!

Love,
J

thanks jonni, the good news is i usually dont get discouraged, it takes alot, but this weekend i just felt overwhelmed and finally just had a good cry x2!
i think that helped my heart, but girl it does make your eyes look awful puffy and the new wrinkles dont go away like they did when i was young!
my little bunny making really takes my mind off some of this and i am alone for a few days so i can pace myself. that is all good.
i hope to finish susan's bunny today, and then you are next girl!
i will review your order with you tomorrow so i can start gathering things up and get in touch with my "inner bunny">
oops i made myself laugh and almost fell off my chair.
thanks for your post, jonni, i'll talk with ya later.

Those cries can sure make all the difference...I used to think of myself as an old selzer bottle all "shook up" at times ready to explode--then I'd have a good cry and things were miraculously put into perspective :)....my Great Gran always said, this too shall pass....and it does. Cold wet tea bags do wonders for puffiness around the eyes and eyelids, and it feels good, too!!

I'm glad the bunnies help take your mind off of things, but you know you can take your sweet time and get to it when you can.

Looking forward to "talking" with you, Frannie...have a good morning and better afternoon!!!!

here is a pic of susans bunny, she has her basket and acorn necklace, but still needs a shawl or sweater, just in case there is a chill in the air. she doesnt care so much about all that, she only cares about her two buddies.

her little pig and ladybug, she insist that they are her companions and that they will be travelling with her. i hope susan is ready for all this.

that would be heaven to me, but then there are bills to pay, and meals to cook and the house to clean and the goats to tend and the gardens and the chickens and the woodlot and the little houses on the prairie that are really causing concern for me right now......
oh, thanks zan!
sorry, got carried away there.
my house looks right now like a crafting bomb went off!

Oh, dear frannie! I've got such a lump in my throat looking at the picture of my girl...and her little pig and ladybug! I've got to go find my hankie - and get a place all ready for little miss smarty-pants (er, smarty-dress)! Thank you.
love,
Susan

Yay!!!! Susan loves her!!! I had no doubt, and I've been living vicariously, watching your little stinker get made so I didn't topple over with pure anticipation of my two bun-rabs evolution!!!!

Congrats, Susan--isn't Frannie just the bees knees?

I think you mean Sweet Pea (the little border collie girl)...when I worked at the rural animal shelter, she was my first 11th hour rescue...she's a National Agility Champion now, and lives with her 3 border collie brother and sisters in Big Bear Lake, MN. I loved her dearly...and it was about this time that she arrived at the shelter...hence her name, "Sweet Pea"...

With the black patch over his eye? If so, that's my Finnigan, my heart of hearts (and the best of the bestest...as I tell him everyday :))....

Well, now you know ALL about me, Frannie!!! That oughta scare ya!
