you dont scare me a bit jonni, and yes i meant the little dog with the black patch over his eye.
we are having a downpour here and i am still just working a way on the computere.
boy we live dangerously here in the country.
my dh took me out to eat tonit, mexican food and we rode around afterwords and just looked at all the sites in town. i dont really go into town much cause i am so busy here, but ever since the gas problem i really dont get out.
sometimes i may go a month without gettin off the farm. but as i was telling zan today, i have a girlfriend who lives way up by the river in an old 1907 house and she is a painter/artist. anyway she went one time 7 years without a car, and she would go months and months without leaving her small farm. she isnt a recluse like me, she really missed folks, but i live close enough that people come over so i dont go months without seeing anyone.
now my friend has a car and she comes here sometimes early in the morning for"coffee" and she says, i'm not staying long, ,,,,and she is in her pjs!!!!!!!!!
and when she leaves my husband has come home from work and we all eat supper together and i guess its just a come as you are party!
anyway, i had a lovely meal tonite and i didnt have to cook and now i am in my granny gown, but i dont plan on going out to see my friend up by the river, so i think i'm home and safe.
anyway, glad you checked in, i had a wonderful phone call this morning from our zan and she is as we say here just a little cutiecute.
it felt like i had known her forever as it feels with many of the farmgirls here.
gotta go now, i really didint get much done today cause i had to go to the dentist, i think that is why hubby took me out to eat. think he was feelin sorry for me, but my dentist is great and it isnt much of a problem going there.......except for the bill! but our dentist are a young married couple and they know this is the 2nd poorest county in texas and they let us all pay our dental bil out in installments.
really nice folks.
anyway, have a good evening, jonni and i LOVED the pics you and yours are cutiecutes too.
what kind of guitar does your dh play?
we play too, we play bluegrass music.....okay, its official i'm blathering now, i can tell i'm tired.

Raining there, too, Frannie? We've had it all day long and it's getting me blue...or gray, I don't know which :)

It sounds like you've had a long but wonderful day (except for the dentist-Ouch!!!) Even if they're the nicest folks, I still have trouble going to the dentist!!!! And mexican food, yum. You must have been reading my mind! I've been craving it all day, and all of the mexican restaurants within walking distance of my office closed. My favorite was run by Pedro Fontova, who used to be a well recognized bull fighter in Mexico (he hails from Acapulco)...and the photos that lined the wall of him as a younger man (AY CHIUAHA!!!!) and the food was awesome, too!

Zan is great, isn't she? She's so easy to talk to, we just got on like wildfire!!!

I wondered what type of music you all played when you mentioned you were having the porch singin! My husband plays a 1969 Gibson Gospel acoustic guitar that smells like my grandmother's attic. It had one owner before my husband, a professor from Antioch College, who kept meticulous notes about it in the case. When I send you the box of linens, I'll put in one of his cd's--some of it's a bit rockin, but he's the singer and it's a favorite of mine for various reasons. Miss Wilma likes it, so it can't be all bad :)

Well, hearing that you are in your "j's" as we call our jammies here, has made me want to hop in mine. I'm also thirsty as heck because I had a salty dinner...gonna go get some water!

I'm glad I didn't scare ya, Frannie--these pups and cats are the love of my life. Did you see the black and white cat on the cookbook? That's my Jack Sprat--he's a bobtail, and CUTE CUTE.

Anyhoo, night to you, sleep tight.

Oooh, kids, my ears were burning, so I came on here and sure enough, you guys were talking about me!! Heehee, you guys are too cute...which means I have to adopt you, but I have SOOO many farmgirl friends that I want to adopt! :)

Jonni, sorry, still no phone calls, the afternoon was too hectic :(
Frannie, I am glad I spoke to you earlier, you are a dear..wait, Jonni's a dear too, but I just couldn't call today. Maybe tomorrow!

Everyone is too sweet. Ms Frannie, tried to email again...so maybe this ends the saga of our emails never connecting? I hope?

Hugs everyone!

Olivia's bunny is very pretty, Frannie. Love her vest! "Carol", eh? Cute cute. I'm so glad you had a lovely visit with your sister...I know you're probably very concerned with her being so far away, but this email thing is great, right?

Seeing Miss Wilma, Janice and Jessie tomorrow, here at the Burlington Antique Show (first of the season). We'll take photos for you...wish you were here!

Yay, that is great. Yes, I'm sort of slowed down with this bronchitis, I sometimes stop in, had to stop most things I am doing--blogging, writing, and job hunting :( But I am on the mend.

Jonni, ohhh, pics please, that would be great!

My bunny, Miss Willa, arrived with her friends this weekend. I just cannot begin to describe how wonderful they are. The amount of work, talent and just plain love that went into the creation of Willa, her little pig and ladybug is mind-boggling!!!! I will try and take pictures and get them on this week - if I can figure out the dadgum technology! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Fran! I just adore her/them!

thank you back, susan i love hearing feedback cause sometimes i just dont know for sure if everything works out or not. i have some crafting successes but ya know just as often, maybe even more often i have made things that just didnt work out. so when people comment in a positive way it goes right to my heart. i guess we all just need the praise.
anyway, if you get a chance and havent done it, go to the bunnystale and see the latest post. it features our girl "willa" and what i learned from her before she left for home.

first, i have to say thanks again to everyone for their patience.
i thought i would take some time and review the list as i know it to be. and hope that everyone who thinks a bunny or 2 or a little pony is coming their way will review the list and make sure it looks right to you. if i've left you off or have something wrong, please let me know.
i never in my dreams thought i would be this slow, even though i know i am. but i must say i always forget how busy it gets here in the spring. planting, shearing, grandkids, and it does seem that we get more visits in the spring, which is always fun.
anyway here is the farmgirl list:
1. jonni, 2
2. country lawyer, 1
3. tina 1
4. zan 2
5. marybeth 1 pony
as your pony is made, i will communicate with you for your address and mine and we can exchange bunny/payment at that time.
otherwise i get too confused.
tina, i believe you have already paid me. i will email you about that.
today i will post a pick of nekkid bunnies that are made. if you see one that you like let me know, it will be reserved for you.
most can be made if someone else picks the one you like, but i do have some that the "fabric" is limited on.....so we will just work all that out. keep your eyes peeled for the pic, and thanks once again for everyones patience, and please take the time if you can to go check out the new post about susans bunny on the blog. thanks tina for your help with the link to mj site and leaving a message on abunnystale.

Ooh Frannie, I like all of it. Well, if the bunnies in th first two pics are available, that would be great, but I am just waiting my turn, of course. I think I will maybe want a girl bunny and a boy bunny? Is that even possible? Well, just let me know what you've got going on when you come to me. It's cute seeing everyone's bunnies progressing :)

I emailed you also.thanks Frannie..this has been so fun watching the bunnies come to life.
I will be clearing a spot for my little bunny on the dining room buffet. She'll have a special spot where she can survey the comings and goings and the hustle and bustle of the household..and she'll be right near the French doors with easy access to the cottage garden and the vegetable garden, and the herb patch.
I think she's going to like it here.
hmm..must start thinking of a name.
but of course..I shall wait patiently..as patiently as I can when I'm excited..ha.

Tina, I too am thinking of the place my bun-rabs will go when they arrive in the Bluegrass. I want a place out of the reach of big dog tails, but also where they can be seen, loved and admired....been thinking that I might make a shelf out of an old door like Mary Jane has in the new magazine. That just might be the place!!!

hi,
since Zan has spoken up for images 1-2 the tweed and other..and the pale blue cashmere has been spoken for...is the 3rd bunny available? the chocolate brown colored one?
photo number 3 (after the cluster of 3 bunnies photo at the top)the chocolatey brown color?
If so..let's just go with that color for my little gal.
thanks.

Hi Tina...actually, I really just mentioned I liked the tweeds, but only if it were available at my turn. I go after you, so clearly I will take what is left from any decisions before me because I should wait my turn, which is fair. So if you, or anyone before me, wants anything in the pic, it's fair game, I'll just contact Ms. Frannie when it's my turn and maybe she'll be nice to make me one from scratch if no more are available.

Yikes, I dont know if this simplifies, or complicates anything.

hi everyone, just wanted to check back in and say they pale blue is spoken for so it isnt available, but all the others are available, and more than one person can choose from the rest of them.
country lawyer is getting a pale green one, and there is enough for one more pale green one. tina, expressed an interest in the pale green so she would get first "dibbs" on that one. as for the neutrals, the tweeds, etc. those pieces are bigger so there probably wont be a problem with more than one bunny from those pieces.
also, as your turn comes up i will talk with you about the color of the garment itself.
thanks and stay tuned, or posted ...well, you know.
