calling bunny#1,
i am fretting a little over nancy jo's bunny. i hope she has arrived safely. i'm afraid there may be too many thrift stores between here and there, and she may have gotten distracted.

i will try and post some pics of her today. i havent completed her outfit yet but i do have a few surprises up my sleeve for your bunnie.
hope you like them and stay tuned!
we have olivia and deven here all weekend so dont know how much i will be able to accomplish. deven had a bad night last night and woke up alot with "tooth" pain or some kind of pain in his mouth.
anyway enough of my moanin and groanin, i just dont know how much progress i will get to make. monday and tuesday are my "days off"
and i usually get a lot done on those days.

glad you like them, christy. i will make some little clothes for the bunny child today. i think a baby bunny is called a kit. kinda confusing!?
also hope to have a little brother also for the little bunny.
hope it all works out. sometimes i have ideas that dont translate into the real world, but i'm not gonna jinx it!

olivia's binny "carol" has been around for a week or two, but now clothes yet. (kinda like the cobblers child who has no shoes).
olivia has been very patient, but from time to time lets me know that her bunnie is "nekkid" and is tired of taking baths. she want to go to tea, or ride in olivia's basket on her bike. or at least have a nightgown to wear to sleep. her arms are much more limber than the other bunnies cause she has gotten and given alot of hugs.
today i hope to get started on susan's bunny and will post a pic as soon as there is a pic to post.
i know i'm getting carried away here with the pics but i'm so glad my computer is co-operating.....and well,
"how many pics would a farmgirl post if a farmgirl could post pics?"
sorry, i think i have already had to much coffee this morning.

the first of march will be the last day i will be taking orders for the bunnies. right now i have 6-7 backlog, and ..............
my bunnies will be marketed through some one else. this is good news to me, because the part of this "business" that i dont like
and am terrible at will be handled by someone who is good at it.
we have settled on all the details and one of them was that i wanted to offer the bunnies to the farmgirls before they could no longer be purchased through me at the original price.
for everyone who crafts as a business, you know that this is a dream and i am hopeful that it will work out well.
having said that i am very appreciative of all the encouragement and support from the farmgirls here.
i will continue to develop accessories and i have retained rights to sell the accessories from my blog and anywhere else that i choose.
also in appreciation of your interest, support and encouragement i am having a drawing here at the mj site in march for a bunny for those who want a bunny but dont have it in the budget.
thanks again for everything and being so supportive and please wish me luck in this new endeavor.
ps will be posting pics, christy today of your bunny.
love to all,
fran in texas

Frannie,
It's wonderful to hear you are on to big things! You are SO talented! I'm very happy for you and may all your crafty dreams become a reality! You deserve it Dear!
I don't have a bunny in my budget (That's why "I" craft as my living) , and I would be crazy NOT to ask to be included in your drawing! So may I please be included? And I might add that it is VERY generous of you to offer to do this for the farmgirls.
I wish you MUCH success Frannie! You're on your way!

rhonda, thanks you so much for your sweet post.
i really angsted over this decision, and a big part of it was not being able to sell them for what i wanted to, but i am not oblivious to the fact that i dont really have a head for money. i think i have said here my mom used to say "on fran's planet they dont use money they just share"
so for me to able to separate myself from the money end and just creat is a real dream come true and i really appreciate your support on this.
i am gonna start a new thread for the drawing and i will be happy to put you #1 on it.
thanks again, rhonda and happy crafting!

Frannie, by now you've read my email and I've read yours, and I'm so excited that, I think I may want two, a boy and a girl if at all possible. If it's not, I understand...and there's no hurry, because I know, that with these little ones, their personalities take time to develop. But, just so you "officially" know, I am getting my request in before the March cut off date. I'm already imagining them in my study, peering out the back window at the wild blackberry brambles...."sigh". (Jonni)

Frannie, I just visited your bunnies and they are the cutest things I ever saw. Good job on your craft work. That was so creative on the bunnies journey that I was waiting to see what happened on their trips.

Oh, my bunny is next!!! Fran I am so glad to hear you're able to concentrate on the creative part of these precious bunnies. While I am so thankful that I "snuck" in on the bargain I know that you need to make a lot more than you're charging. It's hard to think of something that you love so much as a "business". You will have to let us know how we can order these sweeties after March.
