oh zan! i feel better already! i have missed you so much. were have you been? i have had good fantasies that you have found the job of your dreams, and the next minute i am worried sick that something has happened to you. jonni has assured me that as far as she knows you have just had a case of the busies. yes, jonnis bunnies are little cuties, and they can set a formal table, but they are by no means stuffie! the are nice little buns. ...and speaking of bunnies, erin, a farmgirl brought two of the sweetest bunnies here to the farm, and we traded for goats. she only took one goat, but she might come back for more. anyway i enjoyed meeting her and had a good time hearing about her animals, and it was so nice to meet another farmgirl in person. she is bluewren. please dont stay gone so long, zan and keep us posted on your busy crazy summer.

well, zan, i will keep you in mind again for the job search. my new bunnies are keeping me pretty busy, they seem to have decided that it is okay here, and they are becoming more active. one of them is named bonne, which i think is pretty cute since my bunnies are called bonnebunnys. will post pics later on the bunnys of the unstuffed variety.

hey to everyone, just back after a few days recuperating from dental work. two teeth pulled, OUCH, but alls well that ends well, no real problems.
![](http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n265/frannie_10/goats002.jpg) did want to share with everyone, that in addition to bunnies of the crafted variety, we are now the proud owners of two angora bunnies with the help of erin(bluewrenn) here at the mj farmsite. we made a trade bunnies for goats, and we couldnt be happier.
![](http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n265/frannie_10/DSC00738.jpg) this is smokey, a male, and
![](http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n265/frannie_10/DSC00735.jpg) bonny, a female. thats right, i have my very own bonnybunny, she came with that name! isnt that great. i hope if any of you have tales of angora bunnies you will share with me. we are learning as we go, and so far so good. they are really sweet and their fibre is so soft. hope everyone enjoys the pics.

thanks, tina, they are pretty sweet so far. i think they have had a good life and have been treated kindly, at least it seems that way. they are getting used to their new home and have been pretty easy to acclimate. we are enjoying them.

the bunnie thing seems so funny to me. like kismet almost. and so it goes. i have my middle daughter anne visiting me right now. she is going through a very rough time right now. her whole family is. anyway, i am recovering nicely from the tooth extraction, and trying to keep my stress levels under control and not letting the old fear monster rear its ugly head. life can really send you an avalanche of troubles from time to time, but the breaks in between are glorius. sometimes it is just hard to remember, everything is temporary, this too shall pass. and well, even when your children are grown, it is hard to watch them have troubles and heartaches. i will keep ya all posted on the bunnies here at the farm. they are sweet and have lovely fibre and a distraction from reality, and sometimes thats needed more than other times. i am alittle weary of the worries we have had around here of late, but guess i'm not in charge of what life brings me, just what i do about it. love to all!

Dear Frannie....I found this post and read it from beginning to end...most of yesterday and finished up this morning. First, I want to say I am praying for your health to recover and that your worries be few! And your bunnies are so sweet....I have some "bunny tales" of my own and bunnies are very special to me. I would love to purchase one if you could tell me where to. Also, your words of wisdom are so uplifting to others...you have no idea what reading your posts and the caring posts of others have meant to me and how much I've learned from all of you. Love and blessings to all of you and of course to all the "bunnies"! You are all such admirable women!

greetings to everyone and thanks for the "well" wishes! i actually do believe i am feeling somewhat better after having the dental work done, but i am so busy with family that it is hard to tell!![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif) also, thanks for the comments on the thread, sam. i hope you will stay tuned to the world of the bonnebunnys. i really love making them and writing about them. i sold the bunnies here as you probably know and worked out a deal with a lady who is selling them for me. i miss making them for the farmgirl site, but we had a deal where she sold them for a while. i also made other critters for her, and well the cats took off! so i may get back to selling the bunnies myself, here at the site. if i do, however this time i will have to include s/h to the customer so they will be the price+ sh. that is really the only way i can recoup a little profit. i also intend to have another bunny give away in the fall, but i have made a promise to myself that i will not do that until i finish and send the bunnies that i have ordered now. just a little trick that we slow pokes to to try and keep a little order in the universe. i have really enjoyed writing the stories, and most of the inspiration comes from my granddaughter, olivia. i have never thought of myself as a writer, i love good story telling but i have never tried to write much, so i have been really surprised at how warmly the stories have been received. i would love to be asongwriter like jonni's husband, his words are so beautiful and really touch your heart, but that is just now a gift that i have. i've known some songwriters but i just dont seem to have the muse. this weekend i had some of those aha moments and there is a story that actually is inspired by my oldest daughter, teal. as soon as i get a chance to have some quiet time and get it through my fingers and into the keyboard i will be posting it. but so far all my handwork has been in the kitchen feeding the little brood of grandchildren that have shown up here. they are all part of the farm superhero cousin club and boy can they burn the calories. 2 of the 4 that have been here are vegetarians, and since i am not, i have had to try and come up with some food for them. have made a couple of zucchini cakes and also some house fried rice and a little bread spread with veggies, herbs etc. but boy can those little ones eat. anywho, tomorrow i am supposed to be alone, just a farmgirl and her keyboard and hope then to get the newest bonnebunny story posted.

Oh, Frannie...SO GLAD you are feeling better! Don't worry about being "slow".... I LOVE being SLOW! I am originally from the North with the "hustle and bustle" and now I am down South where the heat alone makes you take life at a slower pace and i love it! I swear I was Southern in my last life! LOL! I never fit in with the 'hustle-bustle" and my multi-tasking abiltiy left with menopause so now I only do one thing at a time but ahhh the peace! I too have Arhtur-itis....RA throughout my WHOLE body and Graves disease which almost made me blind but I am doing well and feeling very blessed that I can even see and be! So...I am endorsing a SLOW way of life along with all the "simplifying" of life we can do...it is more natural and there's no "road-rage" or any other kind of rage! You take care of yourself and enjoy those "chillin" but don't wear yourself out! Can't wait to hear your latest "installment"! Plus...didn't know Jonni's husband was a song-writer and she a dancer? People here are SO talented! It's just mind-boggling....I must have some talent of some kind but not sure what or where it is! LOL! Have a great day everyone!

thanks so much, tina. i think after so many days of not sleepin well, some of this has just been sleep deprivation. but i feel i have recovered from my dental work, and yesterday i bit the bullet and started the process to go see a hematologist. i really dont want to do that, but i know that if i was gonna feel all better, it would have happened by now. so i am still awaiting news on that appointment. in the meantime, it is good to feel good enough to post a new story on the bunnystale. it gives me something to think about besides worry about myself! something that never really fixes anything! thanks again tina for reading the post and your comment.

oh, Frannie....that is your best bunnytale yet! I accidently wrote bunnyteal but maybe it was not an accident...maybe you COULD call them Bunny Teals? Anyway...you are an awesome storyteller and it brought tears to my eyes because it is SO HARD to let go and watch our beloved children step out into their own doodoo! And they DO! But...it's their turn and even when my children ask I tell them not to listen to anyone but their own inner voice...the strong, knowing one...the voice of God. As my best friend tells it...we are the only species on the planet that does not have an effective way of cutting the ties to our children! Aint't that the truth! So glad you are feeling better!

sandra, thanks so much, you brought a tear to my eye as well, with your response. this story was very heartfelt too me and probably the hardest one yet to write. but it wouldnt be quiet! i have four grown children and they never stop tugging at your heart, and honestly i am still working on the virtue of QUIET. as you can probably tell from some of my post, brevity is not one of my gifts, and honestly i work ever day at cultivating this talent of brevity. love and hugs to you all!

Oh Frannie...again and again you touch my heart with your words and your wisdom. Those little bun-rabs can sure stir up a lot of emotion, can't they? I surely love the story of Teal, and will print this out for when my bonnebunnies join me in Kentucky. We can read it together.
What grace, and what gifts you have, Frannie. And how lucky I am to know you...

aw, I just love your bunnytales! what a great way to share wisdom and keep life playful!
I wrote stories about all of my stuffies when i was a little girl, it was the highlight of my childhood, so these bunnytales have a special place in my heart Ü
i have only joined this messageboard in the past few days but am already amazed at the level of creativity, kindness, and wisdom I have encountered.
i hope you feel better, frannie.
if you are still making bunnies i would love to purchase one from you!

I'd be delighted to see photos of any of the other bunnies. hint hint. has Jonni's bunnies made their travels to Kentucky yet? And I'd love to see Rebekah's (country lawyers) bunny/bunnies too..and of course the one destined to come live here one day. Would love to see photos of them and to read the stories about them before they come to live with the farm girls awaiting their arrival.
