thanks, tina.boy are we up late!
i think the bunnies are funny cause i will be sure that they are finished, but they will somehow bug me and get what they want.
this boy bunny has some style goin on and i havent really made enough boy bunnies yet to have my boy clothes tweaked enough. but when the hat thing started tormenting me , i thought,,,,no....no hat.
but today i had the farm all to myself and was able to make the little hat.
i do have to admit i think he wears it well.
cant wait til jonni checks it out, i hope she will like it as well.

Oh my word!!! What a pair they make, Frannie!!!! He must be a total handful! Well, luckily for him, I'm schooled in those types :) You are soooo talented, Frannie. I think the receivers of your bunnies are about the luckiest folks on this planet!

She's just precious, Frannie, and looks so demure standing next to her brassy gentleman friend!!!

I can't wait for them to arrive in Kentucky---what a time we will have!

good morning jonni, so glad you like them.
yes, i think they are ready to go, but i have felt that for a while, and the little fella just kept staring a whole through me and i knew there was something i hadnt done yet.
i wish he had just said something a week ago, but until she told me what he wanted i didnt have a clue.
and well, yesterday when i put that little hat on his head, i finally thought "there, he's done!"
and i sure hope he is, cause i have a feeling if she thinks he needs something, she wont be happy til he gets it.
did you see in that one pic how she stands next to him like he is just her fella?

It's funny...even MEN Bunnies have trouble communicating!!! I think what you say about her is true, Frannie....and in that regard, she and I are very much alike :) At least we will understand one another!!

yes, sometimes the bunnies seem to be very much like the folks who they go to live with.
i think she is very much like you, she is pretty and very capable. she has been independent and no trouble, taking care of herself very well, thank you very much....and she loves with a complete and total love.
when my dh found out she was leaving, he wanted to give her a kiss goodbye.
i thought it was funny, he has not responded to another bunny like that although he does do the obligatory ooohing and ahhing, but he just wanted an ironed shirt, i thought.
anyway, she is a sweetheart, very feminine and kind, and she loves gardens, well they both do.
they love looking at your garden on the computer.

i have really wanted to blog about them on the blogspot, but lately, well really for about a month my blogspot has been rebelling again and wont post pics.

Ohhh...that's so sweet that your husband to a fancy to her. She must be very dear, then, indeed. I can't wait to take their first photos in the garden, Frannie. They will be very happy among the zinnias, the pole beans and tomatoes and all the other wonderful things growing!!!

yes girls, they are a pretty sweet couple. she really dotes on him and he tries hard to be kinda blase about the whole thing, but i have watched when she is not around him. he really misses her.
i think i know logically how this works, but these guys move by themselves....okay, i know it seems that i have lost it, thats a given and trust me it happened a looooong time ago.
but really, the bunnies are stuffed with cedar sawdust and they seem to respond to the humidity in the air. ya know like how wood sucks up water and swells.
anyway, the movement is not big or grand, it may just be a slight tilt of the head, or a change in posture or an arm moves ever so slightly. its true!

but now, when he reaches up and puts his arm around her....well, thats love, i'm very sure of that.

well, i have delayed responding here long enough, thought that things might be resolved and i would never have to own up to any problems, but well here goes.
first old business:
i am still making bunnies, and have bunnies ready for:
jonni, 2
tina, 1
country lawyer, 1
and zan 2
nance in france 2
i need addresses emailed to me for everyone, and i will send out a
"bill" with each bunny order, at this time i believe tina has already sent a payment.
when you receive your bunny please let me know if you have any disagreement with the bill, as i am incredibly fuzzy headed right now and always capable of making a mistake. just dont suffer in silence please let me know if you have already sent a check or if the bill doesnt make sense to you or if god forbid, you need to hold off on payment. as you gals have been incredibly patient for your bunnies, i will have no problem being incredibly patient with payment.
and once again thanks so much for your patience.
the reasons for the delay are too numerous and mentioned several times throughout this thread:
the creative process has its own time frame, and can sometimes be slow
grandkids/kids take precidence over all creative endeavors, especially if they are returning from afghanistan.
i havent had the use of my own car for almost a month, as i have leant it out to olivia and devens dad.
weddings/family reunions
and the dreaded health issues.

yes once again i have been going thru a health scare, which i must say is whooping my little behind. i have recently had two abcessed teeth which will be extracted in a week and a half, and we all thought that might be the culprit in my extremem fatique, several days this past month, month and a half i have slept for the best part of the day, being awake maybe 5-6 hours if i am lucky. it is pretty hard to take care of the farm, house and craft when you are asleep although i am sure we all have stories of doing just that!
anyway, a trip to the doctor last week to make sure that i have not had another heart attack, (fatique is a big symptom for heart problems) and what was discovered is that i have polycythema vera, a fancy word that means your blood is just too darn thick. it can cause all the complaints that i have had of late, and the rememdy is to donate blood or "bloodletting" as the old timers say. we are still looking at the possibility of a leukemia, or other type of malady that affects your bone marrow, but as i have had the experience of growing up in a refinery town where this malady seems to affect everyone, i am pretty sure it is just another example of "modern living through chemistry". i was hopeful that i would escape this problem as i watched my mom develop it and while the "treatment" is simple enough it does affect all areas of your health as thick blood would, your thinking, your movement, your energy level and your sleep.
i am trying to fight off the feelings of discouragment that i feel here and hoping for a good reaction to the removal of some of my blood and that no real disease process will be found responsible for this, JUST my unfortunate exposure for the first 20 years of my life to all the things that are in the air, ground and water in a refinery town, benzenes, dioxin, lead, etc, etc, etc.
sweet farmgirl sisters, i am very aware that i am blessed to live the life i am living, and that many of us here are dealing with all types of things that make my problems seem small, but when you say your prayers, please say one for me, that this issue may be resolved in a manner that will allow me to continue on with my life and have more energy and get back to a level of health that is a little more reasonable than what i have had lately. and prayer that i will be able to fight off any discouragment that would interfere with my being able to be as productive as possible. the physical problems are enough i dont want to succumb to discouragement.
thanks to all for their patience and good thoughts.

well, i just need to vent, okay i want to SCREAM but i will just vent.
yesterday, dh took me to the doctor, he wrote a perscription to have 1 pint of blood drawn. we drove 25 miles one way to the blood bank to have the blood drawn and they refused to do it, citing that i had a history of heart attack.
okay, i just take a deep breath, but i can feel my irish getting up, and after a 3 hour wait, in which my doctor argues with them about this is to try and prevent another heart attack, everyone is at a standstill, except me, i am in tears, i am exhausted, i'm shakey flakey as we say here, and i just want to go home and look for some leeches.
the upshot of all this, i think, cause now i am very confused, is that the blood bank is gonna insist that i go to a hematologist so that he can tell them what they need to do, apparently they dont want to take direction from my doctor.
i feel like they are trying to turn a 25.00 "bloodletting" into a couple of hundred dollar ordeal. i think my doctor is probably pretty ticked off, and quite honestly i dont blame him.
in the meantime, i am caught in the middle of this power struggle and still feeling bad, and now dont know what to do.
i think i am gonna, take a deep breath, take some time off from my health woes, and visit some of my fav blogs here, nancy jo, miss wilma, and aunt jenny, and just surround myself with a great escape day of looking at the great sights they post on their blogs.
yea, escape, thats what i think i'll do for now.

I understand about that 'irish getting up' thing, frannie. All you want is help and the so called helping professionals aren't helping you. If I only could, I'd give you half of whatever energy I've got. I'll sure say a prayer for a quick resolution to this problem and a meeting of these medical minds.

Frannie,
Well that was a very upsetting day, Not happy about that and I was not even the one that had to go through it. Hope this all gets sorted out soon for the best. Maybe you should come stay with me, the drive at least wouldn't be so long to get to the doctors. And we have a wall mart not to far away. I have a sewing machine for the Bunny stuff. Keep us posted and only good thoughts going your way.

I'm not fond of Wal mart either, but their prices for prescriptions can be pretty good though, especially if it falls under the $4 list.
Gosh I am really so very sorry that you have had to go through the hassle lately/and haven't felt too chipper... is there any type of blood thinner that your dr could prescribe for you?that would work with the other meds you are taking?
this summer heat no doubt doesn't help much either when you are feeling a bit puny.
keep cool, and keep your chin up gal.
hugs to you and as you know the prayers will continue and he love will too.
you work on getting better now.
hugs,
Tina

so i had a sleepelss night last night, a good chance for me to have a heart to heart with myself and read some farmgirl blogs and have a nice vacation from myself....and believe me, lately i have had more than my share of sleep, maybe i am sleeping for miss wilma and her group which i hear is a pretty sleepless group!

so i decided to take a break from all this worry over myself, which was beginning to feel more debilitating than the original health issues. i will probably get back to it at some point, but for the time being, i decided what i needed was a day at the farm, with my bunnies, crafting and the support and encouragement of my farmgirl friends, who have been wonderful in sending out prayers. hugs and thoughts during the last few woe is me days.

so thought me and the bunnies would just hang out today.
just when i thought i had seen it all with the bunnies, i found one today that is a bunny of a different color....and chennille. she cause d quite a stir here and i think she has already caught the eye of one of the fellas. i tried to quiz some of the other bunnies about these two and and that is when i got the see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil routine.
for me, my farm, family and crafting is a vehichle to enjoy life....much like my farmgirls friends here who have always been a source of friendship and encouragement.
hope you enjoy the visit with my bunny friends and their little shenanighans that they have shared lately with me. ......hugs

thanks jonni, i have to admit she makes me smile as well, and giggle a little too, in spite of myself. i am having all sorts of fun fantasizing about going to kentucky one day and seeing all of you kentucky gals in person. so i think at least for today, my heart has been too full of laughter to really notice if my old blood is too thick or not!
