I just realized I may have put my foot in my mouth when I spoke up...are you guys planning this just for your own group and I just invited myself to your party? Or is this for all farmgirls who can make it? |

Hey Kay and Patricia! I'm in! (so long as it isn't the second week of May) Gas is on me if you can put up with my driving :) since I'll want to leave camp and go to Lewiston to see the folks at some point :) I've driven that route back home to the Palouse so many times I could drive it in my sleep so you'd be in good hands :) Hey......you gals ever try Hunan Chicken at the Emerald in Pullman?????..........yum!!!! ;)

I would love to do May as long as it is not the first weekend . . . while most of Spokane is focusing on Bloomsday, we will be focusing on six pigs and three teenage boys who will all be competing in the Jr. Livestock Show that weekend. Of course the second weekend is mothers day and the last is Memorial . . . so the third weekend perhaps?! That would be my vote. Keep us posted, MaryJane!
Hugs & blessings,
Brenda

What a wonderful get together this sounds like. I wish I could come. I am PTA president this year and since May is a busy crazy month at school...there is no way I could get away (even IF I could afford it) until after school gets out the friday before Memorial day. Darn. I will be there in spirit!

I think all of this would depend on MJ's schedule. But maybe, just maybe, the third weekend in May? I'm so excited thinking about it I can hardly stand it. Road trips are the best!! Haven't been to the the chinese place but Sangria's is fabulous! I think we ate there almost every night we were at Farm Fair.

ooooooo never been to Sangria's, how great! I live for food :) I'm glad you guys have been to the Farm and know things around Moscow. I'm a Pullman/Palouse/Colfax area girl so would surely get us terribly lost in Moscow anywhere off of Main Street. I can't wait to see the Farm! I sure hope this all works out with MaryJane's schedule. FUN!

Frannie, I am sooooo thinking of your dear daughter Kristen. Good news is headed your way if I have anything to say about it.
Here’s what I’m thinking about a dolly class. (Frannie teaches dollies but I’m in charge of the games.) April may or may not be here in May. She’ll only commit to being here until the end of April--so no April in May but definitely April in April.
Since that leaves us on our own, let’s not call any kind of May stay a B&B stay.
Taking it from the top, Mountain Girl, if you’ll sleep in the loft again and Frannie on the trampoline (and if you get cold, the other bed in the loft and if you bring Hank, I do have a double bed we can conjure up for you). I can put Mima in tent 5, Georgia Girl in tent 4, Alee just here for the day, Firemama in tent 3, Katmom in tent 2, Aunt Em and kids in tent 1. That’s it for room at the Inn.
The “Sissyquilt/Utahfarmgirl/Missy/Rustic Cottage” road trip can’t be at the same time because I’m proposing the first weekend in May, also my b-day sorta, give or take a few days but sissyquilt said no go until later in May and she’s your wheels. (Sissy, I soooo wanted to put you to work!) If we burn the place down, maybe we can think of something later in May but not too late since we need to start thinking WEDDING.
Unless I can find someone to run the B&B, I’m going to cancel out on our existing reservations for May. Plan B, I won’t have to and April will stay or May will come and she’ll be every bit as good as April. June are you out there?
Let’s call it a dolly class. I’ll have machines ready and firewood for warmth and a shower and outdoor bathing but no food. If you could bring your own entirely or put an order in with Nick (hubby) ahead of time for some of our instant food, he can have your food in boxes in your tents when you arrive. I need to make this farmgirl gathering pure frolic for me and super easy because I may be under the gun for magazine content or a newspaper column, you name it. I’m signing up for more and more deadlines all the time!
We’ll have you switch out your sheets and remake the beds to keep our costs down. PARTY!!!!!! Happy b-day me.
Arrive Friday the 2nd of May before dark, leave Sunday May 4th some time. Let me know everyone!

Oh man! Well, I called my brother and he is flying in from Alaska on May 7th for my birthday May 8 so..... I'm in if that's still ok :) and ready to be a volunteer worker bee if you'd like, just hollar if I may be of service :) I just have to be back here by May 7th. If no sleeping available I can easily stay with family or something so no worries there :) Just let me know if there's room for me to attend :)

Hey Frannie, the trampoline's yours, just bring a thermarest to sleep on because the cold comes up through bottom : ) seriously that first Farmgirl campout was wonderful. I would have gladly spent the night on the trampoline. Maryjane if you need any help before I would be glad to help. JoAnn |

My 16 yr old, Hannah, wants to know if she can sleep on the floor in my tent just to get to come. She is a good little farmerette and really wants to meet MaryJane. She would just have to come up with her airfair. Ok, I really need to know what airport we would fly in to. I think it would be way cheaper for us to fly than drive. I would enjoy driving more but I have to be realistic.

Hi Denise! If I were flying over I would fly into Spokane, WA. They have all the major airlines so you can get flights much cheaper. Flying into Pullman or Lewiston requires using Alaska/Horizon Air and that can be alittle spendy in my opinion unless they are running a special or you use Alaska Airlines Miles :)

Ok, looks like we will fly into Spokane then. Grace?????
We could go in together and get a car but we will also have to work out flying times.
