Hi everyone. I just love your book I can sit and read it over and over again for hours. I live in the city but I'm a country girl at heart. I love doing all the old fashion things, quilting, cooking from scratch, making primitive dolls and too many other things to write down. I have a rose garden and an herb garden that I love to work in and I like to make herbal crafts when the time permits. Bluelavender45

Welcome Mary,
Sounds like you will fit right in here.
Are you on a farm or out in the country, or just want to be?
Enjoy the forum, there are lots of people here with great wisdom!

Howdy!
We're up here in Tyler! My folks are in Houston so there are quite a few contacts from ther Lone Star! It's great to be able to chat with like-minded gals from all over!

Hi my fellow Texans, I don't live out in the country but my in-laws do. My in-laws have a couple of cows, geese, chickens and of course cats. They also grow tomtoes, corn, watermelons, peppers and have a couple of orange trees. That's how I was introduced to the country life. My FIL is now 90 and he still loves working with the animals and loves doing everything the old fashion way. Bluelavender
