My girls and I were teasing today. One had a homework assignment about how we are what we eat. I would be potatoes, cheese, butter, and salt! What are you?
I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon |

I'd be onions, penne pasta, fresh tomatoes, cheeses of all kinds and asparagus. Oh, also those awesome little rice crackers? Yeah. That's me in a nutshell.

Fast, easy and cheap! Sorry...just couldn't resist.
Fresh basil, fresh tomatoes, good cheese, delicata squash, beets.

Let's see - a latte, all cheese, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, avacados, chicken and ice cream. That is what I would look like.

I'm afraid I would be a big bowl of rice with a side of chocolate sauce. Ouch, the truth hurts. |

Spaghetti and homemade tomato sauce with lovely Italian meatballs, garlic bread and a big glass of milk. Yup. That's me.

Diane, that was too cute! How do I top that? won't try...
Much as I love my Greek salad, I'd rather be Godiva chocolate or a good bottle of merlot...

Well today I would be a big bowl or macaroni vegetable soup with a side of artisan bread with lots of butter. And a glass of milk.
May God bless those who love the soil,

You can learn A LOT about somebody from their diet! It should be a requisite question for new friends! I guess I'm almost all organic, hence the lean bank account. Eggs and a bit of bacon, Ezekial sprouted grain toast & almond butter, dark coffee w/ cream, full fat yogurt & blueberries, hand-picked HUCKLEBERRIES, apples & pears, cucs & tomatoes & firm avocados, deer & elk, sweet potatoes, almost any veggie you can think of, steel cut oats, honey, real butter, pinto beans, spices, cheese, and the deepest darkest CHOCOLATE possible!

I would be a spicy homemade cabernet marinara sauce over whole-wheat noodles with just a touch of parmesana-reggiano and the slightest sliver of chocolate cheesecake with berries.......in my dreams.... in real life potato chip floating on a banana boat in a sea of diet pepsi....ouch! I'm off to steam some veggies!

That's actually only my weekend alter ego :) Monday through Friday I'm steamed veggies, pasta or rice and something decadent but fresh for desert like berries but still all afloat in diet pepsi...working on that one :) I just received my bakeover pan so my possibilities to evolve are endless..... :)

Jennifer Your diet sounds like mine. I love all those things too. In fact, with the exception of the elk & huckleberries, I have had all of those things this week!! You could be my foodie twin!! |

See, Lisa - what a great way for like minds to meet! So, hi, foodie twin!! (Haven't had elk or huckleberries in about a year, either, but I still consider them part of my makeup.)

For sure I would be potato chips and chocolate!
