OH, you all made me chuckle! We took ours down yesterday and by the time we dragged it through the living room and out the door it was just about needleless...some serious sweeping and vacuuming at our house!!
I still have seven up yikes I usually take them down on epiphany but with the way my kids schedule is It may me march before it comes down. I wonder when that hex is going to show up on my side bar I thought it would be today. Oh well I will have to wait longer.
For the first time EVER (I think) our main tree is down before the 15th. We usually keep ours up for quite a long time. But, this year we had a mishap with the electrical lights. Remember Christmas Vacation? It was kinda like that. So we were forced to take it down before we were ready! By the way, Rhonda, you go girl! I'm so happy to read about someone who has beat my record for keeping up a tree. Yay Rhonda! Love it! We've done the Valentine's and St Patty's Day and Easter thing in year's past. But, never made it beyond that. Now all that said, We still have up a small tree (artificial) in the kitchen. I think I'll leave it there for a while. Maybe not three years, but for a long while.
