I ordered two primitive stars from LEA'S etsy. They came today they are so well made and I have just the perfect place to put them.
Lea also sent me a really pretty yellow dolie. Just because. Thank you so much Lea.Going now to hang them up. Well not the dolie. I posted a picture on my site.

They really are cute MB, and I think Aunt Wilma would agree they really look primitive.

So glad that you like them, Nancy Jo! You were so sweet to post them on your site. I felt like a celebrity! LOL. I really do enjoy making those rustic prims. Occasionally, I'll do a prissy prim, but my very favorites are those old, grungy ones.

I had another little Americana prim that I wanted to send along as well, but I couldn't find it at the time. Of course, I found it today. It really goes with the stars and I think you'll like it so I'll try to get it in the mail this week.

Marybeth, I like stars too. I have prim star shapes tucked everywhere in my home. I don't know what it is about them, but I am drawn to them all the time. There are a couple of links to my blog & etsy down below. I don't have much made right now because I was having a handmade holiday and most of my things were given as gifts. But 2008 is right around the corner which means a whole new fresh year just for creating! Hurray!

Thanks, Miss Wilma & Nancy Jo. I'm going to search Bradford TN search right now. I definately want to attend that show this coming year.

Here are a couple of early style prims that I finished yesterday:

And then I did a couple of Prim & Shabby pinkeeps as well ~

eBay had a listing sale yesterday so I listed them there. I believe you can click this link to read more about them: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZfarmhouse*blessings

Lea I love the frog and the dolls are wonderful, There is another girl from Franklin Tn, Old Raggs Usa, she is from Las Vegas and has bought a house in Franklin, I have seen a lot of work but I ve never seen any thing like she makes sewing, she had a booth at Ruths in Sept, and had a pair of black dolls to die for they were a little over 400.00 so that put me out, her name is Angela I just wish I could do the work she does, Oh Lea if you ever need a source for the best reproduction fabric I have one and it will be close to Glasgow when you come. wg

Nancy Jo, I found that little chair in Georgia during one of my treasure hunts. It is darling, isn't it? Too bad I live in a tiny little cottage and can't keep everything. I am quite content with my small piece of the world, but there are so many lovely things out there {sigh} ....

Miss Wilma, I have seen some of Angela's work and she certainly is talented. Where is Ruth's booth in September? You know so many wonderful things ~ just the excursions you've told me about are filling up my 2008 calendar (and I'm loving it). And, yes, i would love to know your source for repro fabrics. We have a lovely little quilt shop about an hour from here that just has bolts & bolts of it. I have spent hours in there planning and buying. I think I could just live in a fabric store and be perfectly content. You can never have enough fabric!
