Speaking of lights and caves, I feel like I've been living in a cave sometimes. Yesterday I had a pet visit with a client who'd just moved to a new townhouse. First time I'd been to her new place, and when I opened the pantry door to get the kitty food, the light came on automatically. When I closed the door it clicked off. I stood there cpening and closing the door just marvelling at how cool that was. "Hmmmm....wonder if the front closet does that? Well, by golly, it does it too! All the closets must do it!" Like it was some miracle of nature! ROFL! Feel like I just came down the mountain first time in 50 yrs.

Friday.. 01/18/08.. I got the Niftiest.. yes.. i said that.. Niftiest.. little box!! From our Valentine Girl Grace!! SO full of sweets & lovely little Mini's!!!! Just So precious!!!
THEN!! Yesterday!! Both a Box!! AND a Lovely Envelope!!
From Bev & Naomi!!!
Bev's of course you've seen if you've looked at her Blog.. But to see the little sweeties in person is just so much better!!!
So many awesome details on each & everyone of them!!! You'll just love these girls!!!!
Then Naomi's!! AWWWW!!! Girls!! How Adorable!! Yes.. You all know red is my favorite color! So Valentine's Day Is just really doing it for me!! But these!! Wow!! Naomi!! You must be practicing up for your Western ones there little Sister!! YEE HA!!! Love em!!

I can hardly wait to show the western mini's off @ the Sisters on the Fly trip. I have 2 coming up 1 in April & 1 in June. I can hardly wait to brag & show off my farmgirl sisters handy work.

I have ideas for those Western ones but don't have my valentines one done. I love love love the fabric I am playing with thanks to dd.
Have to finish quilt blocks first for quilt group tomorrow,(yep behind there too, first time in 7 years....uggghhhhh) then I can play with minis, they are cut out, does that count!!!!!!!!
So are we playing cowboy musics while we are making our western minis. Yeeeeehaaaawwwwww

Finished mine tonight YAY! They will be off to you soon Kathie. How do I get your address? As soon as I do I will get mine to you.
These were fun, not to much embellishment as these are my first ones and I didn't do the extras, just concentrated on getting them together correctly.
Hope everyone likes what I did do. I am going to try and post pics on my blog tomorrow.

Well Rats, does everyone have thiers done except me?
Im working on them as fast as I can. had to go get more trim today, but will be working on them tomorrow.
I had to get a asecond shot in the knee today for arthritis,(chicken combs) got one last week and another to go next week. DONT like those needles in my body anywhere!!!!!!!
Getting beat up here lately, went to the derm last week and got precancer things burned off my face, now that hurt!!
But I will be all ready to go to Italy in April
But Ill think of you all when im there.:)) |

I would LOVE to do a garden themed mini swap.... Hey Bonne. ...if nobody else wants to do a garden theme....you and I could make 24 different ones and swap with each other....we have plenty of time!! LOL... I be Gracie would be up for that, too! Maybe we should as "Mom" (Kathie) if we can????
