Susan, I'm glad the company is offering Zach the time and space he needs (and you) to put things right again. In addition to the counseling, etc. I hope they will also review their business policies to see what can be done to prevent this from happening again. I wouldn't have suspected a mobile phone company would be a primary target for a hold-up.

It may take a little "gut-up" for both of you to get back a level of confidence when going about your daily business and not feel the need to always look for the worst in everyone and everywhere. But it will come....time will slowly heal.

I've learned that it takes as much time and energy to wish as it does to plan.

To add insult to injury...the "other employee" bought a new car yesterday. I dont know if anyone else would find this suspicious but I have a whole wave of new anger to deal with. I dare someone put my son's life in danger for such greed. And someone NOT random...someone who knew him, knew he has a little boy. NO REGARD I tell you. Me running into this person would be a very bad idea at this time. See what makes me even more angry is that was the first words out of my mouth to him was "Do you think she was in on it?" And he's like "Mom, you are always so suspicious! Of course not!" And I am like "well son, it seems that you were the one put in the closet, she wasnt, she seem to give them plenty of time before she let you out..." OH MOM!! ...OH Mom indeed.

I think he's upset enough he is just going to call the detective himself. I dont know that he should but good grief.

Susan,

I can't even imagine what your son must have felt or be feeling as a result of this, or even what you are going through. I'm glad that he wasn't hurt, but I know it will take awhile to get over something like that. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. Please take care.

Hugs,
Lainey

Once we believed that things like this would not happen to us. This is too close and real. I am so grateful he is OK, and thanks for the reminder for all of us to be careful and aware.

Oh, Susan. It just keeps sounding more surreal. I'm praying for you all... the detective will be discrete and wise, and your son will regain his peace (and your peace, too!). Well, I cannot imagine what you're all going through. Hugs to you,

He will try to go back to work tomorrow. He's trying to be a big man about it but is still rather bothered...as would I be. Also, the girl who was with him was arrested. What a shame and a waste of her life. She had a job. Now she has a cell.

Wow! It is so hard to believe that a co-worker who knew him would be willing to put him to such danger. I am so glad that she was so unwise as to make a large purchase immediately afterward. I think your son is very brave!!

i Ithink thats what infuriates him the most. His words to me were "I showed her pictures of Sam. She knew me. She knew I had a child."

Buying a new car that soon after a robbery shows you how bright that girl was - NOT! How awful to have a co-worker be in on the whole thing and put your son's life in danger. I am so sorry that your son and your family have had to go through this. I'm praying the he will be better soon. You're a good mom!

Susan,
I am a little late coming in on this as I have been off line for a while.

I was shaking after I read your story.
I am so sorry that you all had to go through such an ordeal.
My word, what is the world coming to?
