Snow is this amazing fresh scent. You know what it smells like when it rains? It is kindof like that but without the earthy smell. Almost like smelling ozone I guess. Cool, crisp and clean.
I think you will love the really big snow storms once you get used to them. They clean up the world, give everything a coat of whitewash. It makes even the ickiest place look fresh, new and clean again. It softens the hard corners of the world. Everything looks like it has a white pillowtop cap on it.
Oh and the hush and hearing the snowflakes fall happens best when it is snowing big snowflakes. Sometimes they can be bigger than a quarter! :D

I like when it is dry and does that little snakey drifting thing ahead of the car as you are on the road...it is just plain pretty. I've been trapped in a 4 foot drift with a sick horse and I STILL love snow beyond reason. =D Every thing is soft and pillow topped out here on the NE corner of Moscow. I'll go photo hunting in a bit...I love taking snow photos
