We have been talking about shopping bags to buy, make, use, re-use or recycle. We could post the sites about these here. I'm going to make some of my own from old shirts and also crochet mesh. I recently bought eco bags from my grocery store...they even have a zippered pocket inside, and the whole bag is shaped exactly like the old fashioned paper bag. Someone could come up with a pattern to share. Do we have any more ideas or sites to share? Keeping in mind saving energy and money and our environment is always good.

I had an idea for a pattern, or well, an idea to add to a pattern. I am a coupon clipper, yes I can admit it. I love to use coupons for everything I buy. The more I save at the market the happier I am. Unforunately I am not the best at coupon organization. Sure, my coupn holder is organized but what I am talking about is the actual coupons I have clipped and am going to use on that particular shopping excursion. Now I usually have my kids grab the coupons that I have the item for and hold them til we reach the checkout line. So what I am thinking is how about a pocket or two for the going to use and then the used coupons. Then when you get to the checkout, voila, there they are all ready for you!

Yes, great responses. Thanks everyone. Now to decide where to start sewing. I liked the bag from plastic shopping pattern. That's a new one for me. :-) Hope this helps others too. Let us know if you used these patterns, ideas. Anyone? I will!

Thanks for the sites. I'm thinking the shopping bag one will make a good lunch bag for work, or just to put my wallet in to shop and lots of other ideas. One can never have enough bags.
Thanks thanks thanks
