I am interested in preserving old and rare livestock breeds. I've already got plans for rare turkey and chicken breeds in my current location...but one day when I have my own mini-farm, I would like a couple of these pretty spotted pigs. I think I will only have girls. I don't fancy being chased around the barnyard by a boar
I'll breed them artificially if I need to, but I love the droopy ears and am a sucker for just about any spotted critter

I love GOS./ Very hard to come by in this country though and finding sperm to AI will be equally challenging.

Have you looked into Big Blacks?? They are a heritage breed. Very docile hogs, including the boars. Pasture well and natural pasture birthing. Great mothers
