Oh and Bev I got those emails but for some reason I couldn't see your drawing in the email. Can you post it on the forum?

BEV FOR PRESIDENT!! I'd vote for you any day. If I can help you, I will. There are enough of us for you to delegate work to when we get rolling, so feel free to pass the buck when we get busy doing projects, etc. Then your job will be made a little lighter.

Looking forward to good times and fun projects with you all. I sound like Casper the Friendly Ghost O:)

Many hands make light work. We can all help in what ever way we are able to get this chapter all up and running. We will know a lot more about what is needed and have a better handle on "Job descriptions" once we've beaten trail. Bev, delegate your tail feathers off. We will all rise to the occasion and all learn invaluable lessons in the process.

Thanks gals....you are all just the BEST!!!

Now, get to work on those journal pages!.....(first order of business) I will forward the farm newsletter to you also.

I had a request for a picture of my crude drawing that I came up with for our patch....now remember this is only a suggestion and I will not be offended if you nix it! It would of course need to be done professionally....with a better bee....but I am no artist!

This is for you Julie......

Bev, I love your drawing. It's just my opinion but I wouldn't change a thing about the drawing. It has a real country simple look to it. I haven't participated in these converstions very much. I have to admit that I jumped in on this chapter without knowing anything about it. I don't have a lot of computer time or for that matter a lot of free time. Last night I read through a lot of your post. This does sound like a great idea, but I have to admit that I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. You all have been talking about sewing an apron. I've never done that before. I'm not sure if anyone would even know what it was supposed to be when I'm done. But anyway I plan on staying on your members list if that's okay. But I'm not real good about getting on this computer and just talking. Hopefully this chapter will help me get better at this. I think that's one of the reasons that I jumped in so quickly.

Bev, I also nominate you for leader, because you are already doing a great job. I am always willing to help, but with, a 5yo and a 3yo I would be such a bad leader! Those times when both kids are sick, or school activities come up mean that I can never predict my computer time.

Hey Bev,
I had not seen the drawing either..I think my email server eats my mail sometimes. I'm going to create a graphic out of it just to play around if nobody minds?? just playing..y'all can tell me what you think, ok?

Be back later, Stephanie

Ok, here are some ideas for Bev's drawing as the logo...I'm just throwing stuff out there..there are tons of different fonts to choose from and ways to place the text. I like the idea of curving the text for the "without borders".

I'm using Photoshop version 7 and Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10 in case anyone knows how to curve the text..I've got to do some reading and experiment.

I'm laying out the spool centered differently to give a few perspectives.

I need feedback on this please

More to come so hang on..

Stephanie

"Bees Number 1"

"Bees Number 2"

"Bees Number 3"

"Bees Number 4"

"Bees Number 5" (using caps for "Without Borders")

"Bees Number 6" (spool set "off-center")

"Bees Number 7" (spool set "off-center")

"Bees Number 8" (spool set "off-center")

Cool, Stephanie, I'm going for #2 or #6.

Love that simple font of #6!!

Sounds fine Tasha.....send me your e-mail address and I will put you on the list....but won't get around to it til Monday.

I will be away from the forum for the weekend girls....I have had an unexpected call to handle the farm by myself for the weekend due to a death in my bil's family. Dialup at the farm is too difficult, so I will talk to you all on Monday when I am back in town.

I like the offset type of #1 but I wouldn't squak at any of them- especially since I don't have to do the designing!!
Sounds like things are moving along nicely.
I kinda think Bev and Stephanie make a great creative team-
