I did think about it, but considering we barely got up there ourselves to pick anything, ah well. The joys of a mostly-unmaintained forest service road and morning sickness (well, 16 weeks of constant nausea) weren't exactly something thrilling. There are still some folks at my farmer's market selling huckleberries for $25-$35/gallon though if you're still in need of them.

Good morning!! We are busy plugging away at school. I wanted to stop in and say hello. This afternoon I hope to get some sewing done. I have some bags I crocheted and I want to line them for the fair. Other than that I have to work tonight. The sun is shining here but it's quite cool. Last night was down right chilly. I have been wanting to go to our farmer's market but have been so broke. I hope to with in the next couple of weeks.

Hope all is well.

Glad to hear from you, Carol Sue.

Carol Sue, I looks like we are moving! Gary may know for sure today what his boss wants for rent! That is the only thing that we are not sure on!

Monica, I am so happy for you, I know this is something you've been wanting for awhile now.

Hubby is off for the weekend so I have it all to myself (with the 2 dogs and cat of course)! Going to can tomatoes and beets, shop, do some quilting...Yay for me!! I don't even care if it rains...

Suzanne, I enjoy those quiet times. I know that I get a lot of things done. Still, it is nice to have family around. Dh's co-workers ordered a large flower arrangement, and it was delivered yesterday. There are gladiolas, carnations (one of my favorite flowers). Every inch of the sympathy card was signed by his co-workers. It is sitting on our dining room table-where I do my sewing, since our youngest son has the room that used to be the sewing room. Smells great and it makes sewing a whole lot more fun.

Thank you all for the well wishes on the house! I am just dreading packing! It's amazing what you can accumulate in 4 1/2 years!

Monica, think of all that we collected in 25 years. If we ever had to move, it would take a long time to pack and go through things.

Monica, I am not one who generally wants flowers sent, but every once in a while, they are nice. I thought that it was such a nice jester by dh's co-workers.

Sharon, go to All Forums and click, then the barter forum should come up.

Miss Steph, what cha doing girl, snuggling up with that honey of yours, or did you fall out of your tree house....lol

Ruth and Monica I am sure are busy with their homeschooling.

Monica, did you get it, did you get it?

The doings at this house and dds have been centered around dealing with yellow jackets and their stings. Teresa has got it twice in the last couple of weeks and she does not react well. Big red, swollen for a week. She finally gets done with one, and goes to bed and gets stung, cause one was hiding in her blankets. Now that is downright mean!!!!!!!

Me, just having every day life with a few adventures thown in between,
so what is happening in your neck of the woods....grin.

Carol Sue, Still don't know how much for sure on rent! Gary's boss is in town so hopefully today he will be able to talk to him! Yes it's been hectic with homeschooling and trying to destash! I found a beautiful little antique spinning wheel that I really want to get and hubby said "NO WAY"! pretty much because I have so much other stuff! I am trying really hard to clear stuff out! I even started listing stuff on craigslist! I hope Teresa is feeling better! I got stung by a bee last week and OH BOY did it hurt!! The funny and worst part of it was that when I went into town to check the mail it got up under my long skirt and I thought I had got it out, only to come to find out when I got in the car and sat down I had not! Yes,it stung me right on my behind! Had to come home and have hubby put baking soda on it and lay on the bed for a while!! No fun at all! Still itched from time to time a week later!

Hello ladies!! It has been quite busy around here. I posted all about it on my blog. Homeschool is also keeping us busy. I hope to get into a better routine soon. It can be tough sometimes.

I miss everyone here. I hope we can start chatting more soon.

I have been busy making aprons and with family things. I had a fun visit with my mom today. Two stories regarding a room mate. The room mate claims that my mom (who can not walk and is confined to bed) got out the bed and closed the door on the room mate as she was leaving the room. The other was that my mom got a chair (located next to the night stand) and threw at her. The room mate was telling everyone who would listen, but of course the nurses know that my couldn't do it, and if she could, she wouldn't do it.

Nothing exciting here. Just sold a car, am breaking down and buying a minivan for all these darned carseats, still unemployed, babe's been moving here and there (I'm not quite halfway done, I'm just assuming I'll go to 42 weeks again so I don't get my hopes up). Been drooling over a ton of neato books I'd *love* to get for the kids (hs'ing and such), working on boxing up some of hubby's "stuff" in the basement so I can make that a kid area. Oh, and 350lbs of apples to start off the apple insanity here this season. My orchard guy rocks. And I somehow managed to fit all those apples in our poor Geo Prizm to boot.

Monica and Lanna, both of you have your hands full. Monica, if I ever had to sell this house, it would take a long time to go through things, especially since we have a truck full of mil's items to sort through. I told my sil that we would handle her mom's things, because sil would be too stressed out over it. I have no idea where all the items are going, but think that we won't have a living room again for a while.

My youngest son has a severe cold. I feel so sorry for him. I am still trying to get more inventory done. It has been hectic around here. My brother and I are also taking care of matters for our mom, so we went to a lawyer this past week. Boy! Lawyers are costly, but it will save us in the long run. My mom is still not talking to my oldest brother, and was unhappy that he went with me to the lawyer's office. I told my mom that I needed an extra pair of ears, so that in case I miss something, or he misses something. My mom said, "A witness." so she was fine with it. Thank goodness.
