Now you want a laugh, I can't even remember what I was saving my pennies for. Shout, now that stinks....see one day and I totally forget!!!!!! Oh now I remember, they have cutter quilts there and there is this one I really liked and it would make great stars. Will have to wait for a bit longer.

Taxes must be paid. ahhh life, darn it interrupts sometimes....lol
Ronna, snowing here, hope you had a nice safe drive girl.

Karin, I can just see buttons flying, cats flying, glass going every which way I think I can imagine it because the cats are going nutty here too. They haven't ruined anything yet, with the mess I have I am not sure I would even notice.

Steph, thanks for the cheer up today.

Now Autumn, you get to feeling better girl.....

It is snowing like crazy again. Enough already. I also realised today why I am having such a bugger of a time with my minis, they are snowflake related and this girl is so so so done with snow. Seriously done. Now the weather is just plain not listening to me at all. Like I could tell it waht to do in the first place.

I have Bether babes tonight so mama can get some sleep. I am awake and have to do the kitten feedings so I may as well do her treatment too. She is sound asleep. WE were going to watch Marley and me but I didn't figure she would make it.

I did buy some seeds today for our veggie garden in hopes that spring would come...hmmmm, I think it back fired....lmbo.

You ladies had a good morning....I refuse to shovel snow anymore, it can just go away on its own!!!!

Sharon...glad you like the fairies! Thanks.

Monica, I'm not sure what you can print the patterns on.......maybe that has to do with your printer....????

I'm starting a new page for the patterns but if you go to the Curly Willows blog page you can't miss the link on the right! It should be up and running by tomorrow afternoon.

Carol Sue, anytime!!

Carol, I'll be running to your blog tomorrow evening..This will give me something that I can play with as I unpack..thanks a bunch.

I have had an idea about printing them out on the canvas that you run through the inkjet printers then spray them with the 3M water repellent or any kind of water repellent. Maybe they would last on the porch..will be experimenting when I get to the cabin..since I'm gonna be going back and forth between there and the apartment I think I'll have to concentrate on yard art and a only a few herb plants that I can haul back and forth..otherwise, all will die in my absence.

Ohhh art on the porch, now that is a good idea.

Carol that was such a great job that you did, thanks for sharing.

Still snowing, shoot, I wanted to plant those snow peas, me thinks I shall have to wait for a bit more. This weekend when they say it will be 50. Now that will be a treat!!!!!

Autumn~I hope you feel better soon.

Jess~nice to hear from you.

Teresa~I hope Beth feels better soon.

Have to get ready to go. Catch you all later.

Hey Jess, how did I ever not see your other blog? Now, I can see why you have been away so much. Those chickens need a new home of their own.

Gals, my dh calls his mother last night night. She says, "Have you made the reservations for the last day of the church?" Dh says, "Am I expected to ready your mind?" Last time we knew when mil was here before that she wasn't sure if she would go and she also said that she was done with flying because it is so hard on her. Now, she wants to fly back out here for the last day of the Presbyterian church that she, dh, and I went to. They are having the last church service with a program and dinner. There isn't anyone really attending anymore since the pastor who was there for about 30 years retired. People left the church and went elsewhere.

The time that she is visiting is the time that my oldest son will be on a trip up north. I was going to use that time to work on that quilt, since I will not be sharing the work surface with my son. Sigh...

Happy Birthday Naomi! I would announce that in bigger letters, but I don't know how.

It is just freezing here today, dank, clammy and I didn't get to sleep until 5:30 this morning. Today is going to be really slow speed for me.

Autumn, I hope you are feeling better today.

Jess, the chickens look like such fun. If I were your age, I might consider getting some, but I just have to be content with my cat herd.

Sharon, maybe your mother in law would like to watch you quilt? Or would that just drive you batty, it is hard when our plans get disrupted.

okay, time for a little more coffee and then I'll check in here a little later, gotta find my sweatshirt too...

I will have to catch up later with what everyone is doing this morning, but I wanted to say "Good Morning" at least! I have to get some stuff ready to mail and I MUST get some laundry washed today! The laundry pile is starting to take on a life of it's own and take over my laundry room!

Autumn, I hope you are feeling better!

Happy Birthday,Naomi!!!!!!!!

Hey Sharon, I only just announced that blog yesterday. I was not ready for anyone to see it until then, it was a mess.

Yes, I am falling behind in the rest of the world!

Good morning Monica.

Karin, if I lived closer I would come over with a few birds and set a tiny cop up for you, they are a hoot to hang out with.

Karin, my mil wouldn't drive me batty if I did the quilt. I just feel that when she is here, that I shouldn't be quilting or sewing, but visiting. You never know when the time will come and we can no longer visit. She will turn 93 in August and already has lived longer than her mother, father, or anyone in her family has. The visiting is fine, it is just that I get so tired because I am the one who is helping out with everything.

My mil helped me with a quilt about 19 years ago, when she let me borrow a quilting frame from the church. She helped me with the putting the quilt on the frame.

Thanks girls- I am feeling a bit better this afternoon. Still a bit dizzy but I can move slow and take another day to recoup.

I FINALLY got the swag borders pinned and ready to stitch on the "forever" quilt!!!
I can hardly wait to get it on the frame and start quilting!!!

Karin~we have the same weather. It is cold, dreary and rainy. We just came home from our classes and I have to start a fire because there is such a chill in here.

Jess~no need to try to catch up~just go from here and we can fill you in on anything you missed.

Sharon~sorry to hear you won't be able to work on your quilt. It is so disappointing. It was alot of work for you the last time your mil came to visit. Hope this one is better.

Naomi~enjoy your cake and your day out tomorrow.

Autumn~glad you are feeling a bit better.

Suzanne, good for her...that's great to have a chef for a hubby! Thomas tries but the harder he tries the worse it gets. LOL But he's excellent with the grocery shopping so I'm blessed in that area..woohoo!

Autumn, glad you getting up a little bit..you need to post your quilt update on your blog. I want to see the swag border.

Nay, Happy Birthday (again).....hope tomorrow is a pretty day for you! 18 years old, my, my how that brings a life review to me..LOL

Karin, stay warm...make those cats snuggle to you.

Ruth, I get so wiped out when she comes over. This time, it will be a shorter stay than originally though of. It all depends on the air fare rate. She would have arrived on the 15th of this month, but mil mentioned about flying over late at night (rates changed), and it all depends on who can take her to the airport.
